Zhang Yali's Artistic Career

since childhood, Zhang Yali likes the characteristics of cats, such as wealth, self-esteem, simplicity, meekness and spirituality. When she chose to focus on painting cats, she made great efforts to collect information on world famous cats and cat varieties from all over the world. Zhang Yali has raised more than 3 cats and 21 cats at the same time. Her cats are expensive Himalayan cats with small ears, long hair and round eyes, Bos cats, Egyptian striped cats, Scottish flat-eared cats, Mexican bald cats, and American curly-eared cats. In addition, her favorite is an American Kenislek cat with wavy hair and slender face from beginning to end.

Zhang Yali studied under famous painters such as Liu Wenshao, Peng Zuhua and Tang Wenxuan successively, and learned their painting styles carefully, which benefited a lot. She donated hundreds of works for free in activities such as celebrating the return of Hong Kong, the Hope Project, the successful salvage of Zhongshan Ship, supporting the disabled and fighting floods and disasters, donating money for the May 12th earthquake, SARS and so on. Therefore, she became the first batch of public welfare painters for the elderly in China, and was respected and loved by the society, and was praised as a charitable female painter by the society.

After painting cats for more than 2 years, Zhang Yali and her "cats" have traveled all over the motherland. In Wuhan, Shenzhen, Lanzhou and other places, she successfully held seven solo exhibitions; He has published four personal collections of paintings, Selected Paintings and Calligraphy by Zhang Yali, Cats Fun Collection, Love Collection and Zhang Yali's Cats Painting Collection.

After painting cats for more than 2 years, Zhang Yali won the title of "Elvis Presley" in the field of calligraphy and painting. Cheng Yiming, dean of Xuzhou Zhenming Painting and Calligraphy Institute and a famous seal cutter, specially carved a seal of "Oriental Elvis Presley" for her. Du Jiyan, vice president of Shaanxi Xianyang Painting and Calligraphy Research Institute, gave her the title of "Asian Elvis Presley", and Liu Hailin, a national first-class calligrapher, also wrote a special book: "China Elvis Presley" to show her encouragement.
