Is it true that the National Palace Museum in Taipei exhibits rare calligraphy and painting treasures?

Taipei News on October 4th, the Taipei National Palace Museum launched a special exhibition of the essence of calligraphy and painting on the 4th, displaying 45 masterpieces in the history of Chinese calligraphy and painting. In terms of calligraphy exhibits, Wang Xizhi's "Kuaixue Shiqing Tie" and "Yuanhuan Tie" are the first to be recommended. These two works fully demonstrate the power of calligraphy in running script and cursive script. "Four Family Calligraphy of the Song Dynasty" and "Huizong's Poems" respectively represent the calligraphy tastes of the scholar-bureaucrats and emperors of the Northern Song Dynasty. Others, such as the rulers and tablets of Lu You and Zhu Xi of the Southern Song Dynasty and Zhao Mengfu of the Yuan Dynasty, can lead people to appreciate the intersection of literati's emotions and rationality.

In addition, the inscriptions and calligraphy attached to the work are also quite impressive. They are compared with the work itself and include a summary of the history of the book. As for paintings, it includes wonderful masterpieces from the Tang Dynasty to the Qing Dynasty, with themes including figures, gods, landscapes, animals, flowers and birds, etc. For example, there are Han Gan's "Herding Horses" in the Tang Dynasty, "Deers in the Autumn Forest" in the Five Dynasties, "Double Wild Geese in Autumn Pond" in the Song Dynasty, "Yun Heng Xiuling" by Gao Kegong in the Yuan Dynasty, and "Xishan Fishing" by Tang Yin in the Ming Dynasty. "Yin", and "Summer Mountain Misty Rain Picture" by Wang Hui of the Qing Dynasty, etc. Each piece is unique, of excellent quality, and each embodies an important art school, displaying the cultural and historical significance of a specific time and space. ?

The Taipei National Palace Museum stated that due to the age of most of the works, in order to protect the precious antiquities with fragile materials, the illumination in the exhibition cabinets will be strictly controlled in the exhibition hall, and photography and video recording will be prohibited. There are 20 works in this exhibition that are limited exhibitions. The exhibition period is only 42 days and will be displayed in two phases. In addition, from October to December, the National Palace Museum in Taipei will hold 7 free expert lectures to provide in-depth analysis of the famous works on display.
