Comprehensive quality evaluation is actually based on the facts of students' growth and development. It is a systematic evaluation of students' academic study status, core competencies and daily behavioral performance, aiming to objectively reflect the overall development of students' moral, intellectual, physical and aesthetic conditions. The evaluation content is mainly divided into five aspects: ideological and moral character, academic level, physical and mental health, artistic literacy, and social practice.
Let me introduce each one to you below.
In terms of ideological and moral character, it mainly examines students’ performance in aspects such as love for the party and country, ideals and beliefs, honesty and trustworthiness, kindness and friendliness, responsibilities and obligations, and compliance with laws and regulations. The focus is on students' daily conduct, participation in party and league activities, community activities, public welfare work, volunteer services, etc.
Academic level mainly examines students’ basic knowledge of each course, mastery of basic skills, and ability to use knowledge to solve problems. The focus is on the study status of national curricula (compulsory and elective), academic proficiency test scores, school-based curriculum content and academic performance, research study and innovative achievements, etc., especially the study status of subjects with advantages.
In terms of physical and mental health, students’ healthy lifestyle, physical exercise habits, physical functions, sports skills and psychological quality are mainly examined. The focus is on the completion of physical education and health courses, the main results of the "National Student Physical Health Standards" test, sports specialty items, the effects of participating in sports, and the performance of coping with difficulties and setbacks.
Artistic literacy mainly examines students’ aesthetic feelings, understanding, appreciation and performance abilities of art. The focus is based on the students' study of art courses, their artistic qualities and interests in music, art, dance, drama, opera, film and television, calligraphy, etc., as well as the results of their participation in art activities.
The aspect of social practice mainly examines students’ hands-on operations and experiences in social life.
