Xin 'an College has a long history and a long culture. In the second year of Yuanfeng in the Western Han Dynasty (BC 109), Bengu County and Xin 'an Institute were established. In the third year of the Ming Dynasty (AD 1508), thousands of households were stationed in Xin 'an, and the troops were stationed in the fields. Since then, place names have been used in Xin 'an. In the 12th year of Zhengde in Ming Dynasty (A.D. 15 17), the ancient city of Jian 'an was built. In the 26th year of Qing Emperor Kangxi (A.D. 1687), the court returned Mengzi County. More than 2000 years of historical vicissitudes and 1000 years of military activities have nurtured the glorious history and splendid culture of Xin 'an Institute, leaving scattered cultural relics in the region. Historical block 1 1, 5 military sites, 9 ancient temples, 68 ancient houses, more than 800 ancient tombs, 23 ancient stone tablets and ancient stage. Xin 'an has preserved many intangible cultural heritages, such as masquerade balls, cave classics, calligraphy, painting, sculpture, embroidery, poetry, snacks, and historical celebrities such as Liu Zhu and Xiao Chongye. They are the physical witness of military politics, economy, trade, culture, education and social development in the Ming and Qing Dynasties, which completely preserve and reflect the traditional features, local characteristics and ethnic customs of the Ming and Qing Dynasties and have high historical, cultural, artistic and scientific values.
