For example, when he was behind his back, he could no longer sleep, put on clothes or read and write.
There is no denying that Guo Huaiyu is the highest cultural level in the circle of literary friends. Professor, Master Supervisor, Visiting Scholar of Nankai University, Senior Visiting Scholar of China Academy of Social Sciences. He is so knowledgeable and diligent, how can we rest in bed?
Last April 2 1, I used four phrases to express my friendship with Professor Guo:
We met on April 20 12 13. On that day, the Qiushui Literature Society of anyang normal University invited Mr. Wang Shouqing, an old contemporary writer, to give a lecture. When I finished reading the edition and arrived at the Teachers College, it was already dark. Mr. Wang Shouqing made peace, a pair of teachers and students fell in love and were close, while I quietly shrank in the corner. Professor Guo hurried over to say hello in a low voice-although he had never seen me before, he recognized me at a glance. After the greeting, I said two words "inappropriate" and he politely agreed.
I brushed my mobile phone carelessly and turned a deaf ear to my classmates asking the old gentleman for advice. Suddenly, I was shocked to hear that the host professor invited me to give a speech on stage. This is anyang normal University, a famous historical school with a hundred years of vicissitudes! Sitting on the stage, Mr. Wang Shouqing is a national first-class writer and a famous poet, with 50 years of literary creation career. Mr. Chen, the host, is a senior professor at the College of Literature of Anyang Normal University with 30 years' teaching experience. Those young college students under the stage are all young talents. Didn't it embarrass me to suddenly put me on stage without any preparation in advance? I glanced at Guo Huaiyu indignantly. The applause began, so I had to pretend to be calm. When I walked to the podium, I remembered that it happened to be the third day of the third lunar month, so I got down to business from Wang Xizhi's Preface to the Orchid Pavilion, saying that the days of teachers' colleges were also a time when "a group of wise men arrived, but they were long and salty." I saw the faces of Professor Chen, Professor Guo and Professor Chen all show approval. Oh, my God! Wang Xizhi saved me!
A few days later, on April 27th, there was an exhibition of calligraphy, art and photography in the Academy of Fine Arts of anyang normal University. Call Guo Huaiyu on the spot to explain to me, but I didn't expect to find the right person! He has a good knowledge of calligraphy and has taught calligraphy courses for many years. Members of calligraphy associations at all levels have his students. When I went to his office for the first time that day, I set up a long console table, which was full of ink and ink, and people had to love it.
Students always come to ask him questions during the conversation, so I always thought Guo Huaiyu was a teaching assistant or lecturer. Don't professors in universities rarely show up for classes? Isn't it okay for students to see his works in the library only through email arrangements? I even thought he was just a counselor. Therefore, I have always been outspoken with him. On one occasion, I occasionally mentioned several contemporary female writers on the phone, and I pointed them out. Unexpectedly, Professor Guo turned out to be one of the few female literature research experts in China!
Teach fish to swim, just to the finish line. From then on, I played hooligans in front of Professor Guo and became more willful. When he contributes, I often make irresponsible remarks, criticize, find bones in eggs and dig holes in my nose. He is not angry, but always smiles and says that I am right in criticizing. What impressed me most was that he wrote an article "My Six Awkward Names", which was full of jokes and abuse. There is helplessness in humor, which reflects the absurdity of the times from the change of name. In the popular words, it is "darkness" and "cold humor".
Even so, I always play with water in front of him. Until one time, he inadvertently told me about the "organization of distance" on the phone-I was always puzzled by the structure of words and phrases. He wrote five pictures, carefully screened them and sent me the best one. I don't know calligraphy, but I feel very happy when I look at the dignified and vigorous words. I regard it as a treasure and hang it in a conspicuous place in the living room. It is the only calligraphy and painting in the family.
Although Guo Huaiyu is a true scholar, he is not a bookworm. Although wearing glasses, it is not pedantic. Every morning at 6 o'clock, he plays the flute, trills, Boeing and overlaps in the Woods on campus, and the sound is in his ear; Flying fingers, tongue, abdominal vibration, skillful manipulation. He plays basketball or table tennis with his students on the playground every afternoon, jumping, passing, shooting, slashing, pushing left and attacking right, and hitting straight. In addition, he also dabbled in piano, electronic organ, guitar, guzheng and other musical instruments, football, badminton, shuttlecock and other ball arts, and even qigong and meditation! Although these words are vulgar, I can't find a more suitable word for him.
