Chao Daishuang’s resume

Born in Jiaxiang, Shandong Province in May 1970.

Graduated from the School of Art and Design of Shandong Light Industry University in 1996, and stayed at the school as a political counselor and part-time teacher.

In September 2000, he entered the Institute of Chinese Calligraphy Culture of Capital Normal University to study for a master's degree in Chinese calligraphy culture.

In September 2004, he continued to study for a doctorate in Chinese calligraphy culture at the Chinese Calligraphy Research Institute of Capital Normal University, under the supervision of Professor Ouyang Zhongshi.

In December 2005, as a doctoral student representative of the "Chinese Calligraphy Higher Education and International Exchange Project", he went to Japan for a visit and academic exchange, and held a calligraphy joint exhibition.

In July 2007, invited by Nanyang Technological University in Singapore, he went to the Confucius Institute in Singapore to participate in the International Forum on Chinese Language Promotion and hold a calligraphy exhibition.

In December 2007, he was promoted to associate professor.

In December 2007, he obtained a doctorate (with a focus on fine arts and Chinese calligraphy culture).

In August 2009, he entered the Art Postdoctoral Research Station of the Academy of Fine Arts, Tsinghua University, and worked as a co-supervisor with Professor Chen Chiyu.

In December 2011, he was transferred to the National Museum of China. 1. Since 1983, he has participated in many large-scale calligraphy and painting exhibitions at home and abroad and won awards. He has been selected or specially invited to participate in important calligraphy and painting exhibitions at home and abroad for dozens of times.

2. The scientific research result of "Wen Tong and Northern Song Dynasty Painting" won the first prize of Capital Normal University's 2005-2006 Scientific Research Project Outstanding Achievement Award.

3. Won the Excellent Graduation Project (Thesis) Guidance Award of Shandong Institute of Light Industry for two consecutive years from 20056 to 2007.

4. In June 2008, he won the “May 1st” Cultural Award of Shandong Province.
