Sang Weng (1921-2002), whose original name was Hu Rubi, was born in December 1921 in She County, Huangshan City, Anhui Province. He is good at inscriptions, traditional Chinese painting, calligraphy, etc. His works of landscapes, flowers and birds, figures, birds, animals, etc. are indifferent, quiet, leisurely, peaceful, childish, and simple.
Life story
Before the founding of New China, he worked as an apprentice and clerk at Xinmin Bookstore, Kaiming Bookstore, and Zhonghua Bookstore; in the early days of New China, he served as a rural teacher and the She County Cultural and Educational Bureau Teacher, fertilizer collector and other positions; in 1972, he was transferred to 250 Reservoir as a clerk; in his later years, he specialized in Buddhist scriptures. Died in Huangshan People's Hospital in January 2002.
