According to textual research, Shun Di once stayed in Xintian to educate his ancestors to be filial. Xintian discovered a large number of sites related to filial piety culture, such as Hanlin Mountain and Taiping Temple, and also found a large number of couplets inscriptions on filial piety culture. Today, Xintian still spreads colorful filial piety culture and folk customs. Xintian County invested in the construction of the Filial Piety Cultural Park, aiming at carrying forward Chinese traditional filial piety culture, tapping its resources, developing its products, enriching its activities, promoting the organic integration of filial piety culture and building the socialist core value system, and improving the quality of the whole people. 20 10 laid the foundation stone on September 28th. Tsung i Jao, a master of China studies, wrote a name for the park and served as a construction consultant. Seven scenic spots, such as "Twenty-four Filial Piety Sculpture" and "Filial Piety Culture Museum", have been built, becoming the most comprehensive entity "museum" in China to display the inheritance of filial piety culture. At the same time, filial piety culture park and a number of tourism resources such as Wudang Mountain, Daguanbao and Longjia Courtyard in the south of the county form a humanistic landscape with great tourism development value, which injects new vitality into Xintian's economic and social development.
Park layout
The overall layout of filial piety cultural park is mainly based on two axes, one ring and one belt. "Two axes" are sub-axes and perfect axes. The highest sub-axis is east-west, with a width of12m and a length of 438m; The Supreme Good Axis is north-south, with a width of10m and a length of 263m. The axis of filial piety and the axis of supreme goodness are both marble paved roads, and the two axes support the spatial structure of the filial piety cultural park. "One ring" is the main road around the park, connecting various scenic spots in series. "Belt" is the waterfront scenery.

There are five inscriptions on the memorial archway, "Filial Piety Cultural Park", which were inscribed for Mr. Tsung i Jao, a 94-year-old master of Chinese studies at the Chinese University of Hong Kong. (2) East entrance square. As soon as the square faces the river, there are four cultural pillars and rockery waterfalls symbolizing auspicious patterns. The five characters of "Benevolence, Righteousness, Courtesy, Wisdom and Faith" are engraved on the ground, and there are statues of Shiting, Right Dragon King and Earth Hidden King by the river. ③ Ten columns. There are ten pillars of gratitude on the axis of filial piety, which are taken from "Buddha said that parents' kindness is difficult to repay the scriptures" to teach people to remember their parents' ten gratitude. The Ten Enzhu is hexagonal and engraved with the calligraphy works of famous calligraphers in Hunan Province to promote the spirit of filial piety. (4) the central square. In the center of the square stands three 9-meter-high Oracle Bone Inscriptions "filial piety" characters, which were also written by master Rao Yi. (5) "Xiaogan moving the sky" scene. According to Shun Di's filial piety story of "Xiaogan moving to heaven", there are rockeries and statues of Shun Di. (6) Cultural landscape wall. There are six scenic walls next to the central square, with illustrations of filial piety stories. (7) Wenchang Pavilion. Three floors and six sides, donated by enterprises.
