Hu Jitang is recorded in the "Dictionary of Chinese Art Celebrities" and the author of "Bi Xiaoxuan Painting Knowledge Record". This is a residential building with three rooms and three floors, divided into front and back halls. It is tall, spacious, elegant and simple. There is a large nave painting of "Songhe" hanging in the front hall, and a plaque of "Lu Fu Tang" with strong fonts hangs above the nave. On both sides of the nave and on the east and west columns, there are lacquered wooden couplets, which are engraved with "The foundation of filial piety, the foundation of family inheritance, poems, books and articles on the world", "The world is open to three points, and the sky is wide, and a little seed in the heart is planted to cultivate Sun Geng." , "The first good thing is just reading, and for hundreds of years people have just accumulated good deeds" and other ancient sayings. There is a "painting table" in the hall. There is a vase on the east side of the table and an ancient mirror on the west side, which means "peace in the east and tranquility in the west". There is an ancient clock in the middle, and there is an ancient porcelain "hat slip" on each side. The Four Treasures of the Study are displayed on the Eight Immortals table, and Arhat chairs are placed on both sides of the hall. There are calligraphy and paintings by ancient painters hanging on the walls, including Cheng Lanzhou's regular script, Huang Yuanzhi's calligraphy and wood carvings, Zheng Banqiao's bamboo and yellow stickers and the "Cat Playing with Butterfly" picture. There is an ancient wooden fan hanging on the wall on the right side of the back hall, with four ancient Chinese characters "Qingfeng Xu Lai" engraved on it. When the rope is pulled, the fan will gently swing back and forth. There are twelve wooden doors on each side of the patio, all carved with flowers, plants, birds, and animals. A story of filial piety is carved in the middle of each door, which together form a "Twenty-Four Pictures of Filial Piety". There is also a goldfish pond and rockery bonsai under the patio. The portrait of Hu's ancestors hangs in the upstairs hall. The whole house is full of ancient style, full of scholarly atmosphere, and has the typical scholarly family style in ancient China.
