The running script comes from Two Kings, the cursive script pursues the charm of Zhang Xu and Huai Su, and the regular script takes the tablet of Zhang Menglong as the Sect, and immediately turns from the tablet of Tang Dynasty to the epitaph of Northern Wei Dynasty. Later, he dabbled in seal script, official script, Oracle Bone Inscriptions and bronze inscriptions, especially in Linchi, Ou Yangxun. He often made running scripts, followed the two kings of France and took advantage of the kings. The cursive script is based on Wang Xizhi and Sun Zi, and influenced by Huang and Zhu Dian. The style of this book is elegant and generous.

Calligraphy has two characteristics: first, the pen is bright, and second, the composition is wonderful. Writing a book is not very particular about the pen and the pen heart, but "to reach the realm of agility and emergence in all directions compared with ups and downs." Therefore, his pen is like an array of horses, dripping and carefree, and his brushwork is clean and vigorous, which is very Mi Fei's "calligraphy" flavor. But slightly different, long paintings are often full of twists and turns, with a sense of valley. This is one of them.

The book emphasizes "knowing white and keeping black". He said: "Words are composed of stippling, and blanks are also part of words. Only when the virtual and the real live together can they become works of art. Therefore, he pays special attention to the layout of composition in his writing, and strives to "know the white and keep the black" and "live with the virtual and the real", so as not to let the words and lines be unremarkable, and always combine the big and the small, the thick and the thin, the right and the edge, the long and the short, thus generating momentum and strength in strong contrast and forming a vivid picture from the scattered division of black and white.
