Mr. Si Huiguo has extensively studied the calligraphy styles of Erwang, Huai Su, Zhang Xu, Wang Duo, Mi Fei and Huang Tingjian for decades. Therefore, it has a deep, solid and extensive foundation. He is good at cursive writing, concurrently repairing the official seal, and constantly innovates Li Bai's poem "Into the Wine" and Su Dongpo's poem "Niannujiao Red Cliff Nostalgia". Hundreds of calligraphy works are collected by friends at home and abroad and central leaders, and they are influential young and middle-aged calligraphers in today's art world. He also presided over the compilation and publication of 300 kinds of calligraphy and painting classics, personal technical series and copybooks, such as China Encyclopedia of Calligraphy and Painting, China Encyclopedia of Hard Pen Calligraphy, China Calligraphy and Painting Art in the Twentieth Century and China Calligraphy and Painting Art Boutique Ceremony. Because of his outstanding contribution to China's hard-pen calligraphy, he was awarded the honorary title of "Top Ten Outstanding Persons" in China's hard-pen calligraphy in the 20th century.
