The front of the brush refers to the length of hair between the tip and the root, so the brush we use is divided into long front and short front; Before the word refers to the stroke direction or stroke line that can be shown in the written word. However, the understanding of the front does not make it clear to beginners that the front of the pen should be used instead of the nib when writing.
Second, the beauty of calligraphy. To practice calligraphy, we must first understand what the ontology of calligraphy is now. In the process of practice, we will consciously abide by the principle of beauty and meet the standards of beauty. You may not be able to do it at first, but what did you miss? Know what affects your writing.
Third, the proportion of words. During this time, I practiced calligraphy. Although the progress of calligraphy was not great, I gained a lot, almost every day. Yesterday, I realized that we should pay attention to the flexibility of the pen when writing brush words, and the words look more delicate. Today, I suddenly realized the importance of the proportion of each part of a word. Although I usually know this, I really understand it today. This is one of the first principles of writing a word well. Will also write the key points of the whole work. But it is really difficult to master, and it is often mastered by feeling.
Fourth, the flexibility of the pen. The brush is usually soft, and you must master its softness to write the words of the brush, so that you can control the brush and use it skillfully.
Fifth, rational acceptance. The predecessors had many original opinions on calligraphy, and understanding and absorbing these opinions will be very helpful to the progress of calligraphy. But you can't accept everything, such as holding the pen firmly. At this point, I think we should live in vain first, but we should not take it lightly. Second, the pen holder should be straight, so it is impossible to make the pen holder always perpendicular to the paper, and it is not necessary to be vertical.
Calligraphy should have its own characteristics. Of course, this refers to a higher level of calligraphy. When calligraphy reaches a higher level, we should consider adding our own characteristics, combining our own understanding and sentiment of calligraphy, and embody our own ideas in calligraphy, and truly realize that words are not only tangible and beautiful, but also have both form and spirit. This is a good calligraphy.
