Tang Ying in Qianlong Period of Qing Dynasty

Tang Ying (1682-1756), a ceramic artist in Qing Dynasty, was good at writing and painting, and was also proficient in calligraphy and seal cutting. A native of Shenyang, a member of Zhengbaiqi of the Han army, was able to write and paint well. In 1728, he was ordered to concurrently serve as the pottery official of Jingdezhen. He worked for nearly 3 years and successively fired porcelain for the emperors of Yongzheng and Qianlong.
