Qingyuan Mountain is a famous scenic spot in Jiangxi Province. With beautiful scenery, quiet environment and pleasant climate, it is known as "the first landscape in Jiangxi". Qingyuan Mountain is 320 meters above sea level, with continuous peaks 10 km. The mountains are lush with ancient trees, exotic flowers and herbs, full of fragrance, green springs and green peaks, each with its own flavor. There are more than 30 pools, springs, streams and Gorges, and waterfalls such as flying snow splash, tiger running and pearl running water cascade into the dense forest; Climb Tian Yu 'e, Furong, Cuiping, Gai Hua and other peaks, tall and picturesque.
Qingyuan Mountain has been a Buddhist resort since the Tang Dynasty. Jingju Temple is one of the key protected temples in China, which is located in the mountains. The temple covers an area of about 1 10,000 square meters. The main buildings are the Heavenly King Hall, Ursa Major Hall and Guanyin Pavilion. The whole temple is magnificent, magnificent, reasonable in layout, small and exquisite, and it is an ancient temple with unique architectural characteristics in the south of the Yangtze River.
In the second year of Tang Kaiyuan (July14), Huineng, the sixth ancestor of Nanzong Buddhism, sent his disciple Xing Si from Nanhua Temple in Caoxishan, Shaoguan, Guangdong Province to open a Buddhist temple here, collect monks and spread the "Dunfa" of Nanzong. For a time, the incense here flourished and became a Buddhist shrine in the south of the Yangtze River.
Qingyuan Mountain is also a world-famous cultural mountain. Qingyuan Guild Hall, which stands side by side with Jingju Temple, is one of the earliest academies in Jizhou County and was once a famous forum for Neo-Confucianism in China. Since the Tang and Song Dynasties, many writers and scholars have come in droves, traveling around the mountains, visiting ancient times, giving lectures, or reading for inspiration. Yan Zhenqing, a great calligrapher in Tang Dynasty; Song Dynasty poets Huang Tingjian and Yang Wanli, prime minister Li Gang, bachelor Hu Quan, prime minister Zhou Bida, national hero Wen Tianxiang; Great scholars in the Ming Dynasty, Wang Yangming, geographers Luo Hongxian and Xu Xiake, scholars Fang Yizhi and Shi all left precious and well-known poems in Qingyuan Mountain. Only Records of Qingyuan Mountain has collected more than 500 poems, which are still shining today. Now there are places of interest such as Jingju Temple, Qizu Pagoda, Feilai Pagoda, Zuguan, Daiyue Bridge, Yingfeng Bridge, Longtan, Tiger Running Spring and Sword Test Stone for people to visit.
