Chai Jianguo’s academic achievements

Published dozens of papers in "Chinese Calligraphy", "Calligraphy News", "Calligraphy Herald" and various journals.

He pays great attention to the research on the history of calligraphy and calligraphy theory. He has published monographs and edited "Tongjian of Shanxi Calligraphy", "Shanxi Culture and Art Chronicles-Inscriptions on Calligraphy", and "A Brief History of Pingyang Calligraphy" (with (co-authored by Yang Jiping), "The Heart of Ju Yue", "Complete Collection of Wei Junxiu's Diaries", "The Heroism and Desolation Written in Yesterday", "The Biography of Wei Junxiu", "Research on Wei Junxiu's Calligraphy", "The Famous Calligraphy of Wei Junxiu" Selections of Xian Poems", "Wei Junxiu Calligraphy", "Wei Junxiu Cursive Poetry Volume", "Chen Manruo Calligraphy and Seal Engraving Collection", "Ruojingxuan Treasures", etc.

Currently, he is undertaking two national-level scientific research projects: "A Collection of Fu Shan's Poems on Calligraphy" and "A Collection and Annotation of the Inscriptions on Steles of Ancient Shanxi Dynasties".
