He absorbed the techniques of the ice and snow painting school that emerged in the 1980s, combined with the traditional plum blossom freehand method, and achieved the perfect fusion of ice, snow and plum blossoms in Chinese paintings. The ice and snow plum blossoms in his works include the crystal clearness of ice and snow as well as the cold and proud plum blossoms, showing the proud posture of plum blossoms in the ice and snow. The artist used white space and the effect of different ink colors to vividly express "ice and snow", a subject that has always been difficult to express in traditional Chinese paintings, making us feel a cold beauty. Recognized as the number one "ice and snow plum blossom" in the industry.
