Mifei's memory of later generations

Migong Temple (Mifei Memorial Hall), formerly known as Mijia 'an, was built in the Yuan Dynasty, expanded in the Ming Dynasty, and later renamed Migong Temple. This is a sacred place to commemorate Mi Fei, a famous calligrapher in China in the Song Dynasty. Since the thirty-second year of Kangxi in Qing Dynasty (1693), it was rebuilt by the 18th generation Sun Mizan, 19th generation Sun Mijue and 20th generation Sun of Mi Fei. Four years of Tongzhi in Qing Dynasty (1865) was rebuilt. There are memorial buildings such as worship hall, Baojinzhai and Yanggaotang in the temple. In addition, there are 45 pieces of Mi Fei's handwritten towels carved by Mi Fei's descendants in the eighth year of Yongzheng (1730), and other inscriptions 145 pieces. "Migong Temple and Its Stone Carvings" 1956 was announced as a key cultural relic protection unit in Hubei Province. On May 25th, 2006, Migong Temple, as an ancient building in Qing Dynasty, was approved by the State Council to be included in the sixth batch of national key cultural relics protection units.

Migong Temple was built without examination. "Xiangyang County Records" records that it was destroyed by soldiers at the end of Yuan Dynasty and early Ming Dynasty and rebuilt in Ming Dynasty. In the forty-seventh year of Wanli (6 19 BC), Zheng Jizhi, an official of the Prince Taibao, wrote a book "The Monument of Mi's Descent" to record the evolution of Mi's hometown. China Mi Fei Calligraphy Garden is located in the northwest of Shili Changshan Cultural Park in Dantu New City, Zhenjiang City, Jiangsu Province, relying on Shili Changshan Mountain and adjacent to Guyang Lake and Zhenjiang University Town, covering an area of 40.5 hectares. Total construction area10000m2. According to the natural features and landscape features of the site, it is divided into four functional areas: calligraphy experience area, calligraphy display area, calligraphy teaching and research area and cultural leisure area. It is the only cultural theme park named after calligraphers in China. February 20 15, it was promoted to the national 4A-level scenic spot.

Mi Fei, a famous calligrapher, collector and art theorist in the Northern Song Dynasty, lived in Dantu for forty years. Mi Fei Calligraphy Park is built to commemorate this great artist who has a historical relationship with Dantu.
