Feixian County Fairy Cave attractions introduction:
It is 15 kilometers south of Fei County to the east of Xujiaya Township , in the sun of Yuhuan Mountain, there is an ancient temple, called Congbai Temple, which was built between the 16th and 37th years of Jiajing's reign (1537) in the Ming Dynasty (1558). After the reconstruction, more than two years later, the inscription of Congbai Temple in Yuhuan Mountain was erected, which can still be examined today. In the Qing Dynasty, it was rebuilt many times and recorded in great detail. Among the temples are the Jade Emperor Hall, Taishan Hall, Guan Gong Hall, Lingguan Hall and Jingu Hall. In the past hundred years, it has been hit by wars and collapsed one after another. This place is surrounded by cliffs and dangerous rocks are about to fall. Surrounded by green pines above, with ginkgo trees flying in the sky below, the trees are dense, covered with moss, and the mountain light is hazy and fascinating. Therefore, it has been highly recommended by tourists of all ages. There is a deep cave in the north of Congbai Temple, which can accommodate a thousand people. It is half light and half dark, with a winding vault, two doors in the north and south, connected in the middle, and a skylight, with two floors. In the middle of summer, the cave is very cold. After taking a nap inside, the air is refreshing and refreshing. It is a world like no other, just like a fairyland, hence the name Immortal Cave.
In the second year of Tianqi in the Ming Dynasty (1622), when Zhang Sizhi (the elder of the late Ming Dynasty), a scholar at Wuyingdian, spent the summer here, he left behind "green mountains on all sides and a line of sky, high jade rings and colorful clouds, three thousand miles away from Xianyang" "Why go to Taoyuan to avoid the Qin Dynasty?" The poem is widely recited to this day. There is an ancient ginkgo tree in the temple, which stands tall and tall, about 40 meters high, with a trunk diameter of 2 meters, with lush branches and leaves and numerous fruits. There is a well under the tree, called "Xiangshui Spring". It is warm in winter and cool in summer, and is as clear as a mirror, so it is known as "Liquan". The frogs in the spring drum silently, and the locals say that "the toads in the Immortal Cave have their bellies drummed up". There is a small bridge below, called "Immortal Bridge". Next there is a fish pond, called "Bagua Pond". On the pedestrian bridge, the green mountains are reflected and the water in the pool ripples, like a rainbow.
Going up the road, there are 24 stone steps in front of the temple, about 5 meters wide. You can walk slowly on them, or sit and relax, with the breeze blowing on your face, and the scenery is pleasant. There is a green poplar tree in the remote west, with two trunks growing side by side, as thick as the mouth of a jar, about 5 meters high, shaped like a canopy, standing gracefully, evergreen all year round, and full of green. Along the ditch to the west, there is a stone like a screen, as powerful as a knife, about 6 meters high and 8 meters wide. This is the place where Zhang Sizhi wrote the poem. Further down, there is a pond built in 1966, named Langchi. During the rainy season, when the water is full, weeping willows on both sides, geese and ducks parading, kites flying and fish leaping, and reeds growing in the mountains, the mountains and rivers are more beautiful, and the grass and trees are flourishing. Someone wrote two couplets to express his feelings. One of them is "The kites are flying and the fish are leaping high and deep." ***Reward, surrounded by mountains and rivers, embrace benevolence and wisdom and return together." The second one is "The pines on the Immortal Cave never grow old, and the water under Yuhuan Mountain flows forever". Literati in the past dynasties have written many poems about the Immortal Cave. The only ones that have been handed down to the present are more than 10 poems by Zhang Sizhi, Sun Panshi, Xue Nancun and Wang Guifeng in the Ming Dynasty, and Zhang Qiaonan, Wu Liancheng, Zhou Mingqian and Liu Letong in the Qing Dynasty. In the past hundred years, calligraphers Chen Hongwen, Li Yicheng and others have written here. After liberation, it became a tourist attraction for working people; scholars and experts also came here to inspect. The ancient cave is often filled with laughter and laughter.
If you want to describe the scenery in detail, there are green pines hanging on the wall, an ancient cave fairyland; winding roads leading to secluded areas, four arches of rocks; tall ginkgo trees, cliffs and waterfalls, echoing the sounds of the mountains; jade rings Gao Dai, neon lights at sunset; the palaces are jagged and layered; the overpass returns but disappears; the inscriptions on the cliff are ingenious; the cypresses are covered with snow, which is endless fun. Counting on one's fingers, there are as many as 18 scenes. There is another wonder that can be seen all the time, one is called "Buddha's Light". The so-called Buddha's light is a natural phenomenon after rain. It is similar to the rainbow in the sky. It is a semicircular halo formed close to the cliff. This phenomenon usually occurs early in the morning or late at night. It is caused by the mist in the mountains being refracted by sunlight, and a magical halo appears only after reaching a certain level. The author has seen the Buddha's light appearing on the stone cliffs of the Immortal Cave many times. It is like entering a fairyland and being outside the world. The Immortal Cave can only be vaguely visible, and the pines on the cliff are as if they were decorated with colorful flowers, which are particularly bright. Some people say that at an appropriate distance, a person's image can be reflected in the Buddha's light. It lasts for about 5 minutes, and the light fades away, restoring the old view. The second one is "snow scene", which is the most fascinating. Because the stone cliffs here are towering, the ancient cypresses cover the sky, the trees are lush, and the peaks are surrounded; every time it snows heavily and is covered in silver, there is an indescribable pleasure. It changes from moment to moment, from day to day, and it is cloudy and sunny day and night. The snow is clear and the sun is rising in the east, but the snow and the sun are shining brightly together. The branches are like clouds and fog, and the stone cliffs are like ice and jade. If you lean less, the snow will melt, and if the breeze blows, the snow smoke will rise everywhere, and you can see wisps of it. There are endless changes in a day. It would be even more beautiful if it were decorated with tree glazes. The branches of the tree are covered with ice, just like the jade tree. The sun rises in the east, and the sky is filled with silver light. Looking around, it is as bright as a glass world.
The third one is called "Song Tao". When the wind is strong, it is like thunder in the distance, or a volley of artillery, or like rolling waves, or like drum music, sometimes louder, sometimes smaller, intermittent, it is indescribable. The fourth one is called "Rain Scenery", the fifth one is called "Frost Leaves", etc.
Since the founding of the People's Republic of China, the surrounding barren mountains and ridges have all been greened. There are many types of trees, including mountain fruit trees and so on. There are also dozens of natural medicinal materials, such as Heshouwu, Aracenia, Hongniangzi, Digupi, Qingshuixiang, etc. The vegetation is densely covered and lush, like a green bay, waiting for tourists from afar.
