The Book Association of Jinming District definitely ranks second among the four associations of three schools in Kaifeng (Huangjiao, Kaida, Heda New District and Heda Old District), and the first one is the Calligraphy and Painting Federation of Kaida. This year is the 16th year of the opening calligraphy and painting association, and we are only in the first year. The Calligraphy Association of Henan University (Jinming Campus) was founded on October 25th, 21, which is affiliated to the Youth League Committee of the School of Environment and Planning and managed by the Youth League Committee and the School Federation. The nature of the association is "an art association with hobbies". The purpose of the association is to carry forward the national culture and provide opportunities for students who love calligraphy to communicate with each other and a platform to show their personal style. At the same time, I hope to promote college students' mastery and appreciation of calligraphy creation skills through the efforts of the association; Expand knowledge and enrich campus life; Improve personal cultivation, cultivate aesthetic sentiment, and highlight the spiritual outlook of college students.
The establishment of the Calligraphy Association depends on the profound cultural heritage of Kaifeng, seven dynasties, and the good atmosphere of the century-old prestigious Henan University. For a long time, Kaifeng has been a place with outstanding people and famous artists, and the art of calligraphy has been passed down from generation to generation with a long history. In this ancient capital, professional education and non-governmental educational institutions can be seen everywhere, which makes Kaifeng, a glorious and dazzling historical city, full of ink and culture. Even when the footprint of urban development is spread all over the country, calligraphy education is still the constant cry and theme of the times, and it is conquering modern people with a different charm.
in the Han dynasty, Yang Xiong once said that "the word is the heart of painting", that is, calligraphy expresses a person's inner world. Beautiful calligraphy can make the appreciator enjoy beauty through vivid and abstract lines, and can cultivate people's sentiment and temperament. Practicing calligraphy is actually a process in which the calligrapher feels beauty with his eyes, understands beauty with his heart and creates beauty with his hands. Mr. Lu Xun also said that "China's calligraphy art is a pearl treasure of the East. It is not a poem but has the charm of poetry. It is not a painting but has the beauty of painting. In the past year since the establishment of the association, we have done a lot of thinking and exploration around the word "calligraphy". Including the development model, development direction and specific development plan of the association, so the hardships of this year have also gone down to earth, because we are becoming mature and steady, and the current calligraphy association is a combination of "new" and "old": both the unique diligence and progress of the new association and the stability and firmness of the old association. Diligence and progress are destined for us to continue to make progress. We are making 1% efforts to explore the great potential of the Calligraphy Association, hoping to provide better services for the majority of students. Steady and firm characteristics determine that we will constantly check and improve ourselves while striving for progress, so that our road will be wider and wider and smoother.
The Calligraphy Association of Henan University is one of the few art societies in Henan University. This determines that we have two more urgent tasks: (1) to lead our members well! Therefore, we need stricter management system and stricter management methods to deal with the relationship between these nearly 2 people (more in the future) and the president and ministers. (2) We need to devote more energy to holding more daily activities while doing calligraphy competitions, calligraphy exhibitions and lectures well, so that members can also have a stable and quiet environment to concentrate on practicing calligraphy. This is much more difficult than simply holding a calligraphy competition. In the past year since the establishment of the association, many activities have been held according to its own uniqueness, mainly focusing on calligraphy creation and exhibition. There are also colorful activities such as calligraphy competitions, calligraphy lectures, calligraphy forums and so on. With the development of the Book Association, we will hold more and more activities in the second half of the year. "Based on Kaifeng, facing the whole province" is our work goal in the second half of the year. It will be more co-organized with Kaifeng University in Kaifeng City, Huanghe Vocational and Technical College of Water Conservancy, Zhengzhou University, Agricultural University and University of Finance and Economics in Zhengzhou, and Henan Normal University in Xinxiang.
Heda Calligraphy Association is a young society, but it is because of its youth that we have more and stronger self-confidence and determination than other societies. In the first year, the association recruited a total of 171 new recruits, thus breaking the record of no more than 1 new recruits in the first year of Henan University. We firmly believe that in the new year, we will be able to hold more and richer activities, recruit more calligraphy professionals, and create a more solid and broader platform integrating calligraphy creation, appreciation, communication and competition.
