What eight methods do you mean?

"Eight Methods" refers to China's calligraphy rules. Taking the eight-stroke sequence of the word "Yong" as an example, this paper expounds the method of writing in block letters: the point is the side, the side front is steep, and the strokes are placed horizontally, which is enough to close the front; Cross for fun, against the front of the paper, slowly rushing back, not flat with the front; Straight pen is an effort, not too straight. Too straight will be stiff and weak, but it must be straight and look at the curve;

The hook is a pin (t √), and the front end of the pen is raised to concentrate the force on the nib; Raising the horizontal is the strategy, the stroke is straight, and the effective force is at the end of the stroke; Long left for grazing, straight strokes, slightly fat front, force to send; Short skimming is pecking, writing left, fast and sharp; Hold the pen as a stroke (zhé), the front falls lightly, the front spreads slowly, and the front stays.

The significance of the eight-character method: the eight-character method is of certain significance for us to learn calligraphy and get rid of the shackles of the "shape" of brushwork. From the beginning of the first stroke to the end of the last stroke, the strokes of the word "Yong" are interrelated and echo each other, that is, the artistic conception of broken strokes implied between stippling makes the whole word smooth, and the welcome and opening and closing of the whole word stippling are interrelated and absorbed in one place. Therefore, many people practiced calligraphy in ancient times and wrote it dozens of times almost every day.

The eight methods of "harmony" are not only the concretization and popularization of the basic strokes of regular script, but also the eight forms of regular script strokes and Fiona Fang's method of receiving characters, forming the most classic pattern of China's calligraphy and becoming the best way for China calligraphy students to learn and master calligraphy skills for thousands of years.
