? The danger of "locking the key to the south of Yunnan", "the throat of Bashu" and "one person guards it, and ten thousand people can't force it" has always been a battleground for military strategists-Doushaguan, a place full of ancient charm and magical colors.

"Shimen opens, and heaven and earth open; The Tao is connected, connecting ancient and modern times. " Dousha Pass was deeply influenced by "Guanhe", which caused two cliffs to confront each other, shaped like a stone gate, also known as Shimen Pass.

Shimenguan was built in Sui Dynasty, which is a military castle built by using the majestic and steep natural terrain of Wuchi Road. Boarding the castle, the cliffs on both sides of the Guanhe River confront each other, and the deep canyon looks like a stone gate from a distance, so it was called "Stone Gate" in ancient times.

On the gate of the castle, there are three simple and vigorous characters "Shimenguan", written by contemporary calligrapher Chu Tunan. Shimenguan was named after the head of the Yi people at that time, so it was also called "Dousha Pass". In Tang and Song Dynasties, it was called Shimen; Ming said Luo Zuoguan; From the Qing Dynasty to the present, it has been called Dousha Pass.

The two rock walls of Shimenguan are about 600 meters high, and the narrowest part is about 100 meters apart. Pass across the ancient "Wuchi Road", about 3 meters wide. Since the fourth year of the Tang Dynasty (630), military forts have been built here in all previous dynasties, and there is a tendency that "one person guards it, and ten thousand people cannot force it". It is a dangerous pass on the main road of the Central Plains entering Yunnan and a battleground for military strategists.

Doushaguan has been an important post station of Yunnan-Sichuan Passage since ancient times, an important section of the Southern Silk Road, and a traffic artery for the Central Plains to enter Yunnan, Guizhou and other places. In the 4th century BC, the Southern Silk Road passed through here.

Especially since the pre-Qin period, the Qin Dynasty opened Wuchi Road, Hanwu opened Nanyi Road and the Sui and Tang Dynasties opened Shimen Road, the development here has been accelerated. Doushaguan, as an important pass on the Yunnan-Sichuan passage, has been an important post station for the Central Plains to enter Yunnan since ancient times, and it is also one of the shore stations for transferring Beijing copper in the Qing Dynasty.

The sound of hooves, bells and horseshoe prints, big or small, on the "five-foot road" silently tells the story of the past and records the history quietly.
