Wu Sanda, formerly known as Wu Peiji, is from Chang 'an. 1933 was born in an aristocratic family of scholarly family in the ancient capital Xi. From an early age, he was gifted in painting and calligraphy, and he was full of coolness. There is little family study, and poetry is quite talented. After a little longer, Wang was engaged in the study of calligraphy and painting, and gradually emerged. They followed Zhao Wangyun, Shi Lu and other masters of Chinese painting, kept close contacts and made great progress in pen and ink. After graduating from Provincial No.1 Middle School, he joined the army, engaged in literary and artistic work, and joined the People's Liberation Army to resist US aggression and aid Korea. After returning to China, he has been active on the stage of drama for a long time. He was awarded the titles of "National Expert with Outstanding Contributions" and "National Senior Art Teacher" by the State Council. He is currently a director of China Calligraphers Association, vice chairman of Shaanxi Calligraphers Association, honorary president of Shaanxi Calligraphy and Painting Art Research Institute, librarian of Shaanxi Literature and History Museum and member of Shaanxi Provincial Political Consultative Conference.
Appreciation of Wu Sanda's Calligraphy Art
Wu Sanda's calligraphy is thick with pen and ink, heavy wrist, skillful technique and ingenious brushwork. Personally, I think he majored in North Monument and took its essence. The pen is slow and not open, but fast and powerful.
