Born in September 1953, Sun is currently the president, professor and first-class artist of Qilu Huayi Painting and Calligraphy Institute of Academia Sinica, member of China Artists Association, deputy director of Qilu Art Museum of China Artists Association, deputy director of Qilu Creation Center of China Artists Association, executive director of China Calligraphy Artists Association, director of Chinese Painters Association, honorary chairman of International China Artists Association, honorary chairman of International China Calligraphers Association and member of China Art Education Research Association. Member of Shandong Calligraphers Association, Vice Chairman of China Modern National Calligraphy and Painting Artists Association, Adjunct Professor of China Correspondence University of Logical Language, Visiting Professor of China Oriental Academy of Fine Arts.
