Why don't calligraphers inscribe?

The inscriptions of calligraphy works are generally dated to indicate the creation period of the works and provide reference for future identification and market value.

But sometimes, because the words in the works are too long, there is not enough room for inscription. Some calligraphers only write the calligrapher's name, while others don't even write the name, but just stamp it. This kind of situation often appears in cursive writing.

It can be seen that the creation of calligraphy must have a well-thought-out plan, and the position of words, signatures and seals must be arranged in advance.
