At the same time, the party also invited Xinjiang students studying in Qingdao and Beichuan students who received assistance from Qingdao in the Sichuan earthquake disaster to participate in the performance, which can be described as a strong lineup. Children from Korea, Japan, France, the United States, Slovakia and other countries will take the stage to recite classic works in Chinese, which is also a highlight of the party.
It is worth mentioning that, in order to ensure the performance effect, the party chose the Olympic Sailing Center Grand Theatre with world-class sound and photoelectric stage stunts. The theater is surrounded by the sea on three sides and can be opened and closed, with a semi-circular glass curtain wall. Through the curtain wall, the audience can enjoy the seaside scenery of Qingdao where the sky meets the sea. The stage cloth in the form of ancient ships shows the color of traditional culture. At the end of the party, the curved glass curtain wall at the back of the stage is fully open, and the stage is directly connected with the sea. Ships loaded with little actors and red lanterns sailed into the theater, which fully demonstrated the regional characteristics of Qingdao as a city of ocean and a capital of sailing, and also pushed the warm atmosphere of the party to a climax.
