Zhang Shenfu (1893-1986), born in Songnian, xian county, Hebei Province, is a philosopher and mathematician. Zhang Shenfu's grandfather was a wealthy local farmer, and his father and uncle were both scholars in the late Qing Dynasty. He received a good private school education in his early days, so he has a solid foundation in ancient Chinese and has a deep study of China culture.
