Chen Bangjie, male, born in 1946, given the courtesy name Enrong and nicknamed Qu Wushan, is from Baiyin Pingchuan, Gansu Province. University graduate, senior middle school teacher, engaged in education for 40 years, served as deputy director of Pingchuan District Education Bureau and director of the Teaching and Research Office. He has won Pingchuan Excellent Classroom and Baiyin City "Gardener Award" and published several teaching papers in provincial and above publications.

He is a member of Gansu Provincial Calligraphy Association, a member of Provincial Calligraphy Education Research Association, vice chairman of Baiyin City Calligraphy Association, and honorary chairman of Pingchuan District Calligraphy Association. He studied under Mr. Nie Chengwen, Vice Chairman of the Chinese Calligraphy Association. He has been practicing calligraphy for more than 50 years. He has a profound calligraphy skills and is capable of all calligraphy, cursive, official, seal, running, and off-shadow double hooks. The works were exhibited in the 2nd Western China Calligraphy and "Dunhuang Cup" National Calligraphy Competition sponsored by the Chinese Calligraphers Association and the 7th, 8th and 10th Achievements Exhibition of the Training Center of the Chinese Calligraphers Association. He participated in the fourth youth exhibition organized by the Gansu Calligraphy Association, the calligraphy and painting exhibition commemorating the 110th anniversary of the birth of Mao Zedong, and won the award in the first senior citizen exhibition in Gansu Province. He has participated in or won awards in calligraphy and painting competitions such as the "China International Literary and Art Expo", the first "Three Dragons Cup", "Sihai Cup", the "5th Sunshine Art Cup", and "Tianma Gold Award" held across the country.
