First of all, what is agarwood? ?
Aquilaria sinensis refers to the fragrance produced by Aquilaria sinensis, which is the balsam formed by the fungus infection, secretion, combination and deposition of Aquilaria sinensis for many years.
Wu Bai yi xian Xiang
It is a precious traditional Chinese medicine, southern medicine and fragrant medicine, which is listed in the National Pharmacopoeia, and the national "standard" is protected by the Drug Law. The law enforcement department is the State Administration of Medical Products, and the quality inspection agency is the State Institute for Drug Control. It is also the spice of the ancient Silk Road, the king of musk in Tan Long, which has inherited the fragrance culture and life of the courts in China. It is also a diamond in wood. It can collect fragrant materials and carve Four Treasures of the Study, religious statues, ornaments, handicrafts, cultural and creative products and souvenirs. Aquilaria sinensis has been precious since ancient times. Buddhism, Taoism, Christianity, Islam, Islam and other religions are all listed as sacred products, and each religion has respected cultural beliefs. In China's traditional ancestral culture, incense is constantly burning, and worshipping the gods, offering sacrifices to the ancestors first, connecting the three realms (heaven and earth) and offering sacrifices to the gods by lighting incense are the traditional cultural bridges for the dialogue between man and God.
What is Daphne?
Daphne is a kind of wood, that is, the host of agarwood, which is a common tree in Daphne. Some of these trees are directly called agarwood trees, while others are called wind trees.
When it comes to Daphne, we have to mention Aquilaria sinensis. We should be clear that not all agarwood trees can bear agarwood. Some agarwood trees secrete resin after being injured, but agarwood will not be formed without infection. Trees that do not bear agarwood are generally called white wood, which is of little value. They contain injured wounds, rotten heartwood, rotten wood, both white wood and agarwood, so they are called Daphne.
Although it is not a thing, it has a host relationship. That is to say, Aquilaria sinensis was born in Daphne family, and it should be removed from Daphne family when it is taken out, but no matter how it is removed, there will be a residue of Daphne family. Because Aquilaria sinensis is a solid condensate mixed with oil (resin) and wood components, Aquilaria sinensis has a strong connection with Daphne family and cannot be completely separated from Daphne family.
Because agarwood is of high value and hard to get, many black-hearted businesses in the market sell Daphne as agarwood at a high price because ordinary consumers don't understand it. Wu Baiyi Aquilaria has been focusing on making fine agarwood. Wu Baiyi Aquilaria sinensis is a fragrant material (excluding Aquilaria sinensis and Daphne) that meets the standards of the Pharmacopoeia of the National Drug Law. It is a submerged agarwood block, which is qualified agarwood, high-quality agarwood and superior agarwood (including Aquilaria sinensis). Aquilaria sinensis needs to grow for at least 20 years, which basically conforms to the maturity and aging of the basic fibers of wood rings and forms a wooden lattice. After artificial felling or drilling (non-chemical substances induced indoctrination, inoculation injury, chemical reaction into fragrance), the original ecological imitation natural Aquilaria sinensis can form, solidify and precipitate high-quality Aquilaria sinensis for more than three years, which is close to the quality of ancestral original Aquilaria sinensis. The longer the time of artificial cutting, curing, precipitation and self-healing, the better the quality. It takes hundreds or thousands of years to make incense, which is the best agarwood.
Aquilaria sinensis in Qinan is known as the top of Aquilaria sinensis. In fact, it encountered a special fungus when it was formed. This fungus is many times larger than the fungus that forms Aquilaria sinensis, so it makes Aquilaria sinensis secrete more oil. Because of the high oil content of nanmu, the smell of logs is more obvious than that of ordinary agarwood, and most agarwood only emits fragrance after heating. It is precisely because of the high oil content of Phoebe bournei that the texture is softer and more glutinous than ordinary agarwood, and it is cut into rolls and kneaded into pills. Chewing a little runnan in your mouth will feel a little sticky, and it will have a spicy taste and a smooth aftertaste. The chewing taste of common agarwood is more like wood residue.
