The first pass in the world. Who wrote it

The first pass in the world was written by Xiao Xian, a great calligrapher in Ming Dynasty. , written in Ming Xianzong into eight years, that is, in 1472 AD. Shanhaiguan, located 15 kilometers northeast of Qinhuangdao City, Hebei Province, is named Shanhaiguan because of its proximity to the mountain and the sea. The national AAAAA-level tourist scenic spot, the first batch of national key cultural relics protection units, is one of the northeast passes of the Great Wall of Ming Dynasty.

The most famous building in Shanhaiguan lies in the east tower of the town above the East Gate, which is the "first pass in the world" tower. It is the landmark building of Shanhaiguan and was built in the Hongwu period of Ming Dynasty. The east gate of Shanhaiguan Festival is 12 meters high, with a huge brick arch in the middle. The "No.1 Pass in the World" tower is a two-story double-eave, nine-ridge tile roof, with a height of 13 meters, a width of 2 meters and a depth of 11 meters. There is a gate in the middle of the lower floor in the west of the tower, and there are 68 arrow windows on the other three sides. The towers are surrounded by spacious towers, which are covered with cribs. The whole building is very magnificent.

The most fascinating thing about the "No.1 Pass in the World" tower is the giant plaque of "No.1 Pass in the World" hanging in front of the upper forehead. This huge plaque is 5.8 meters long and 1.55 meters wide. It is made of fine wood and stands out with black characters on a white background. The five Chinese characters of "the first pass in the world" are dignified and vigorous, with solemn charm, which are integrated with the architectural style of the tower, making this Xiongguan more famous. This huge plaque has no inscription on the bottom, which is mysterious and arouses people's reverie.

According to legend, the "No.1 Pass in the World" giant plaque was written by Xiao Xian, a scholar and Shanhaiguan during the Chenghua period of Ming Dynasty. It is also said that when Xiao Xian finished writing this plaque and hung it on the rostrum, people found that the word "Xia" was a little missing. Xiao Xian then gathered a piece of linen, dipped it in thick ink and threw it hard, just hitting the spot. This unique skill made the plaque "the first pass in the world" more famous.
