Painter Zhou Yixin, originally from Zhejiang, was born in Ningxia; The apricot blossom spring rain in the south of the Yangtze River and the iron horse west wind in the north may be born across the north and south, which doomed the unique appearance of this versatile artist. The south wind gradually spread to the north, and after the combination of gentle and strong temperament, many chivalrous and soft-hearted chivalrous men written by Jin Yong and Liang Yusheng will often be produced. In life, he is a scholar-type artist, with a modest appearance and persistent enterprising heart. He is diligent in his humanistic painting journey and never flinches and slacks. His career never stopped: when he was young, his father sensitively discovered his talent, inculcated him and sent him to the cultural center for professional study, which laid a solid foundation for his children's work. 65438-0989 was admitted to the Art Department of Shaanxi Normal University. In the vast stream of painters of Chang 'an Painting School, he was deeply influenced by the atmosphere, unrestrained and straightforward creative ideas rooted in the yellow land, and paid attention to perfecting himself in calligraphy.
1993 is the most meaningful year: a young painter graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts of Ningxia University on Monday. In the same year, he was given the opportunity to change the course of artistic development-he met Mr. Dai Dunbang, a figure painter, and was chosen by him as a disciple. Fascinated by Mr. Dai's vivid figure painting lines and superb painting techniques, he constantly absorbs and draws lessons from them. Guanyin statue, elegant and dignified, exudes religious charm; The customs clearance is magnificent and the line drawing is full of appeal; Zhong Kui has infinite strength, bold colors and lifelike characters; Beauty is empty, and how much sadness is revealed in elegance ... all kinds of meticulous and small freehand figures have become his strengths. The tenderness and delicacy of the Southern School in the painter's bones make his works unique, lofty and meaningful; Color and ink blend, big color system, large area of color, although rich, but not kitsch, but floating fragrance, flowing with humanistic care and human beauty. This is the brilliant style of Zhou Yixin's works, and it is also mature and sophisticated beyond his age. A peak of this kind of works is his "Water Margin Loyalty Hall" in 2004, which won the Silver Award in the 10th National Art Exhibition and was collected by China Art Museum. Since then, it also means that he has stepped into the ranks of well-known artists in the country, and his personality shines in the artistic starry sky.
From 2000 to 20001year, it was another life experience for Zhou Yixin-studying in the graduate class of China Academy of Fine Arts, under the teacher Liu Guohui, who is famous for sketching ink figures. Liu Guohui's superb creative ideas and techniques of freehand brushwork figure painting greatly enriched Zhou Yixin's vision. Teacher Liu gave Zhou Yixin a lot of help and encouragement. He is a responsible teacher who can really set an example. Zhou Yixin, who has always been very good at using lines, has become full of ink and ink in the tempering of ink and wash, and truly realized the deep charm and appeal of Chinese painting. Some of his recent works since 2003 (selected from Zhou Yixin China Painting Collection) are vivid and free-and-easy, full of pen and ink, with excellent taste and excellent frame. The collision of different creative ideas often produces wonderful effects. For Zhou Yixin, this is the fusion of several painting styles.
Long-term unremitting study and absorption of nutrition is another cornerstone of a painter's success. Zhou Yixin said, "For a long time, the most important thing for me was to study. No matter what occupation you do, only lifelong learning can make progress. " He believes that learning is a process of accumulation. When this accumulation reaches a certain level, we can "stop what we should do." Creation is the most natural expression at this time. Zhou Yixin often feels: "I am very proud to meet the guidance of a famous teacher." He never gives up any learning opportunities. Famous teachers are part of it, and so are all kinds of classics. He always absorbs nutrition with an open mind. Zhou Yixin has a large collection of classical literary works and classical picture books, and often comes home with a full load. A trip to France enabled Zhou Yixin to collect four boxes of picture books. At the end of May, at my friend Fan Zhibin's painting exhibition (john young's "Extraordinary" Fan Zhibin National Painting Exhibition in China Art Museum), the author found that he was also standing quietly in front of the painting in the noisy crowd, seriously studying and thinking. This kung fu is really admirable. The author later learned that Zhou Yixin needed absolute silence when writing, and he couldn't listen to music. Sometimes, the creative inspiration comes, and he can keep drawing from 8 am to 2 am. "Someone once asked me, does painting hurt every day?" Zhou Yixin said, "I am like a deaf-mute. The brush is my kaleidoscope. The process of painting is actually the process of understanding the world through a brush. " This is an ascetic spirit and a realm that ordinary people can't reach.
Zhou Yixin's creation never succumbed to the market. He hopes to concentrate on his paintings and lead the appreciators to improve their taste, because he firmly believes that "writing words in sequence" is something without soul. After continuous in-depth thinking and practice, his painting style should continue to present a renewed spiral charm. Zhou Yixin, who has been on the road to success, didn't think much about the future. It is his ideal to walk steadily. We * * * look forward to this young and famous painter Zhou Yixin, whose new works are frequent, which surprises the painting world!
