Brief introduction of Wang Jimin

Wang Jimin, male, 1960 was born in Beijing. He is a well-known contemporary Beijing-style oil painter without party affiliation and is good at calligraphy, Chinese painting and literary creation. Graduated from Chinese Department of Minzu University of China and Fine Arts Department of Capital Normal University. He is currently a member of China Oil Painting Society, Beijing Artists Association, director of Beijing Oil Painting Society, director of Haidian Artists Association, deputy secretary-general of Beijing Charity College and visiting professor of Beijing Institute of Foreign Economics. Oil paintings and literary works have been reported by many newspapers and media such as Art, Art Herald, Art Collection, People Weekly, Beijing Chronicle, Beijing Literature, People's Daily, Beijing Daily, Beijing Evening News and Beijing Youth Daily. As well as interviews and broadcasts from Beijing, CCTV and radio stations. For many years, he has been involved in art education and social welfare activities. In 2008, he was selected as one of the top 100 innovative figures in China by Publicity Department of the Communist Party of China, and was awarded various honors by china charity federation and many art education institutions. In order to cultivate students' excellent academic performance and improve their artistic taste, he set an example of teaching and educating people.
