Why does excessive fame and fortune make positioning deviate from the direction?

Many people always attach too much importance to gain and loss, fame and fortune, and expect themselves to have high status and wealth, so they are usually tortured by fame and fortune. Lighter people are physically and mentally exhausted, while heavier people do harm to others. In fact, the starting point of positioning will deviate from the right direction.

In life, many people are rich but unhappy. People who covet money and try their best to get it all day may never be happy and exhausted. Yan Jiansheng, one of the four misers, is dying, unable to speak, still staring at his eyes, holding two fingers straight and refusing to die. People like him have racked their brains and worked hard all their lives, earning a lot of money. They could have left with a sense of accomplishment, but he refused to take his last breath. The people next to him don't understand what Yan Jiansheng's two fingers mean. Finally, his kannika nimtragol became smart because she found Yan Jiansheng's eyes fixed on the oil lamp on the dining table. There are two lights burning in the oil lamp. Isn't Yan Jiansheng dissatisfied with two lights lit by two fingers? According to the Yan family's rules and the principle of "frugality", a lamp grass will be extinguished. So kannika nimtragol rushed over and put out a lamp grass. This move is really effective. Yan Jiansheng died as soon as Lin was put out.

Although there are not a few people like Yan Jiansheng who died and were tortured by their endless greed, there are too many people who are scheming and even unscrupulous all day for fame and fortune. Life is a one-way trip for everyone, and there is no turning back, so it is best to immerse your soul in a relaxed and comfortable state as much as possible.

Yan Jiansheng is just a little greedy, but people like Hu Changqing are greedy. Hu Changqing, who holds an important position as vice governor, wants to be famous and make money, but he still feels extremely dissatisfied. He thinks the name of vice governor is too serious, and he wants to be arty and leave his name in history. He felt that as a leader, he had to write inscriptions for others everywhere, which was a good opportunity to leave Mo Bao and history, so he made great efforts in this respect. Many people who are good at flattery in the society understand their mind, but after paying a huge price to win the praise of Vice Governor Hu "Mo Bao", they get carried away and really think that besides being a vice governor, they should at least be the vice chairman of the Calligraphers Association. What is even more ridiculous is that Hu Changqing, who is obsessed with false reputation to the extreme, was furious when he learned that he had committed a heinous crime. He was about to be shot. He knelt in front of the prison guards and told them painfully that he didn't want to die. He is willing to go to jail. In prison, he would write calligraphy for prison guards and ask them to sell his "Mo Bao" for a good price. Look, insatiable Hu Changqing was still dreaming when he died. He didn't know that since the day he committed the crime, all his former "Mo Bao" had been thrown into a dump. It's a pity that Hu Changqing finally became the vice governor, but he can't get rid of the control of his endless desires. He was not afraid of asking too much money and his name was too small, and he ended up in a tragic end. This is the most typical example of the imbalance of mentality caused by the heavy heart of fame and fortune, which eventually leads to the disorder of self-positioning and leads to trouble.

Everyone has the heart of fame and fortune, which is inevitable, but if a person wants to become rich, he must do it right and stick to it. As far as the value of life is concerned, if we can appreciate the ups and downs of life, have no idle time and enrich our hearts calmly, then we can be satisfied whether we are poor or rich.

Prosperity does not bring life, and death does not take it away. If we see through this, don't be persistent and don't covet the prosperity of the world, then our hearts will naturally be as calm as water.

Most modern people are impetuous and always try their best to pursue money and status. Once their wishes can't come true, they will complain and even have bad feelings. They will use improper means to make profits for themselves, and ultimately they will hurt themselves. Zhuangzi once said: "If you don't want to be ambitious, you don't want to be vulgar. If you are happy, you will have no troubles." The general idea of this sentence is that people who do not pursue official positions will not be complacent because of their high positions and rich salaries, nor will they follow the trend because of poverty and hopelessness, so they will be as philosophical as before, so they will be carefree. Zhuangzi advocated "reputation first, but no reputation". In his view, the greatest honor is no honor. He despises honor. He thinks fame, status and prestige are nothing. Although Zhuangzi's views of "no desire" and "no name" have many extremes, when we are tired of official positions and money, why not learn something from Zhuangzi's teaching?

In fact, people live to enjoy happiness, but many people in life are too greedy, enslaved by foreign things, running around vanity fair all day, depressed and bored every day, and don't know the fun of life. So we might as well take some time to calmly examine ourselves, whether there are many little secrets hidden in our hearts that we want but can't get, and whether we are often troubled by these desires for fame and fortune. It is normal to have a little secret in your heart, because everyone will always have one desire or another, but some people know how to face these legitimate or illegal desires correctly: he will try his best to satisfy the legitimate desires, but he can't satisfy them by his own ability, and he will face the facts calmly; Improper desires, he will feel guilty and ashamed, and he will review himself in his heart, and will not develop to the point where he will do whatever it takes for this desire. But some people can't control their fame and fortune, and as a result, they delay themselves and ruin their lives.
