Chen Shu's main experience
Chen Shu is good at people, scenery and flowers. His calligraphy is also beautiful and vigorous, and his poetry is also quite proficient. As an adult, she married Qian Lunguang, a famous family in Jiaxing, but her husband passed away very early. She can only manage the family diligently, spinning and weaving at night, and toiling through the years. She never relaxes her children's education, teaching them to read classics and recite poems until late at night. Under her careful cultivation, her son Qian became a scholar in the sixty years of Emperor Kangxi of Qing Dynasty, and entered the court as a petty officer. Chen Shujiao's son is famous. He painted a picture of "Teaching Classics by Spinning at Night", which shows him spinning in the dead of night while teaching his son to recite scriptures. This format won the appreciation of the emperor and wrote two poems on the painting. At that time, Emperor Qianlong took the lead in writing poems praising this painting, and those senior officials and celebrities also wrote poems praising it. This famous "night spinning picture" was later carved on the stone and wall of Qian's former residence on Zhongshan Road in Jiaxing. The author has seen its rubbings, and it is not known whether the original works exist. But its stone carvings are still preserved in the hands of future generations of Qian. When Zhongshan Road was expanded, its stone carvings were seen embedded in the wall. Qian's former residence has been demolished, and its former site is on the foundation of Jiaxing Branch of Bank of China.
