from October 23rd, 188 to October 13th, 1942, Li Shutong was also known as Li Xishuang, Li An and Li Liang, whose musical name was Wen Tao, whose young name was Cheng Xi, whose scientific name was Guang Hou, whose word Xi Shuang, and whose other name was Shu Guan. Li Shutong is a famous musician, art educator, calligrapher and drama activist, and one of the pioneers of China's drama. After he returned from studying in Japan, he served as a teacher and editor, and later he was tonsured as a monk, and his dharma name was Hongyi, and his name was Yat Sen, and he was later honored as Master Hongyi.
In p>1913, he was employed as a teacher of music and painting in Zhejiang two-level normal schools. Since 1915, he has also been a teacher of music and painting in Nanjing Normal School, and composed the first school song in the history of Nanjing University. On October 13th, 1942, Master Hongyi passed away in the yat-sen room of Wenling Nursing Home in Buerci, Quanzhou.

Li Shutong's poems also occupy a place in the history of modern China literature. When he was young, he attracted literary attention with his brilliance. When he lived in Shanghai, he recorded his previous poems by hand as "The First Collection of Poems and Bells", which was circulated among the friends of Chengnan Cultural Society, and later collected "Li Lu's Poems and Bells". On the eve of becoming a monk, he compiled more than 2 poems from 26 to 33 years (19-197) of Guangxu in Qing Dynasty into a book.
Among them, there are many commendable masterpieces, such as "Leaving the Motherland and Presenting Students" and "Mourning for the Death of the People", which show the author's deep concern for the fate of the country and the sufferings of people's livelihood. In the five or six years before becoming a monk, he also published more than 3 lyrics. These works expressed people's thoughts and emotions in the same metropolis through artistic means, which were all the rage for a while, and some became enduring masterpieces.
