I just started practicing calligraphy. Which is better, Yan Ti or Liu Ti?
I have practiced calligraphy since I was a child, so I think beginners must practice face painting first. Yan-style brushwork is vigorous, rigorous, honest and solemn, which is a typical representative of China's square characters. The ancients said: Yan Gu, it makes sense. If you enlarge the two identical characters of Yan' Liu style several times, you can see the structure of Liu style, and the brushwork is slightly inferior to Yan style. Moreover, it will be much easier to practice Liu Ti, Zhao Ti and European Ti after practicing Yan Ti. I am a good example.
