Chinese composition is not good, how to improve the speed?

As we all know, accurate answers and the fastest speed are two important signs of learning mathematics well. There are often quick calculation competitions in primary and secondary schools. The so-called "speed" is nothing more than requiring sensitive reaction ability and skillful problem-solving skills. Composition should be the same, but many Chinese teachers seem to think that composition is "slow work and fine work", and slow is not as fast as fast. In fact, this view that writing is fast and good is one-sided. Imagine that even if a composition is excellent in conception, conception and language, the time required to complete it is far more than several times the prescribed time. Can this writing training be said to be successful? In recent years, I have participated in marking the composition of the senior high school entrance examination many times. During this period, I often find that many students' compositions are well written in the front, but the back is completely different from the front, and they can't even finish the articles. Many of them are caused by slow writing and insufficient time. Every time I see this kind of composition, I can't help feeling; Speed is indeed a link that cannot be ignored and needs to be strengthened in the current composition teaching.

I once read an article entitled "Everyone should learn to write news" in a magazine. In the article, the author pointed out: "The publication of news is not only about the day, but also about the time-to finish a news in ten minutes, the so-called' waiting for death' really needs to practice this skill." For middle school students, of course, we can't ask them to be journalists, but the fact is that in further study or work practice, a person will inevitably encounter many things that need to be judged in time and expressed smoothly immediately. If you don't cultivate the ability of quick thinking and writing from an early age, it will bring undue losses to your study and work. Therefore, in the middle school composition teaching, strengthening the training of writing speed to make students think flexibly, react quickly, conceive quickly and get sick is not only to cope with various exams, but also to meet the needs of real life and the development of the times in the long run.

So, how to improve the writing speed of middle school students? I think we should start from the following aspects in teaching practice:

First, develop the good habit of students completing papers and handing them in on time.

Generally, middle school students have only two hours of writing in each class. Except the time for teachers to put forward propositions and inspire and guide, the writing time for real conception and writing is only 70 to 80 minutes. Many students just bury themselves in writing and don't know how to arrange their time, thus forming a bad habit of delaying class and handing it in late, while some students emphasize objective conditions or personal habits and can't write articles in class. In these cases, I insist on being strict with the difficulties. While repeatedly expounding the benefits of finishing the composition on time and with good quality to improve the writing level, I clearly put forward and resolutely implemented the requirement that whether to finish the composition on time is one of the important criteria for evaluating the composition. Facts have proved that middle school students have great writing potential. Only when the proposition is appropriate, the guidance is correct and the requirements are moderate can most students form the good habit of finishing the article on time and in advance. In order to encourage students to think actively and write quickly, I also insist on giving appropriate points to the top ten paper submitters. At the same time, for students who are usually good at writing, if they feel uncomfortable with the time required to complete the article, they should also tolerate it, which not only affirms their good habit of meticulous planning and meticulous work, but also requires them to set an example in completing the article on time and with high quality in class. In a word, let every student realize very clearly that classroom composition is a composition in a limited time, and fully realize the importance of "time" for composition.

Second, develop lively and diverse fast writing training.

Interest is an important means to stimulate students' enthusiasm for learning, and so is the training of fast writing. Therefore, I pay special attention to the changes and diversity of forms in training to arouse students' interest in learning. For example, tell students a story or type a group of slides, so that students can sort out the context of arts and sciences as quickly as possible and write a writing outline in the most general words; Consciously organize students to watch TV short films, art films, science and education films, news films, and then complete articles such as summary or comment within the specified time as required; In combination with the daily work of the school, such as the school sports meeting, "Three Red Flag Competition Week" and "Civilization and Politeness Month", ideological education and extracurricular cultural and sports activities are widely carried out; Actively cooperate with the school literature society and broadcasting society to carry out small reporter activities and mobilize students to write "small news" and "small comments" reflecting various typical cases in time. In this way, students can "make a living", gradually not regard writing as a kind of pain, but feel that their practice is full of flavor, and at the same time gradually consciously achieve fast acquisition, fast conception, fast writing and fast writing. In practice, I deeply realize that the combination of large and small composition classes inside and outside, flexible and diverse forms, can completely improve students' writing speed. Of course, we can't force unity in concrete practice, and it should vary from person to person. Students with good basic skills are required to prepare a draft carefully and write it directly to improve the success rate of a writing; For students with poor foundation, guide them to write an outline first, set up a good shelf, and gradually transition to punctuality and high quality. At the same time, teachers can set minimum and maximum words according to different topics, requirements, styles and time, which can encourage students to concentrate on refining, concentrate, get twice the result with half the effort, prevent the "trackless train" from running, and help students improve their ability to gallop freely within the specified time. At first, some students may not be used to it, but over time, they can accept it calmly and no longer feel that time is too fast for their composition. In my opinion, the training of writing faster is more effective than writing many articles or revising drafts repeatedly.

Third, strengthen the training of fast oral expression ability.

Written training, that is, rapid training of exercise questions is necessary. However, due to various objective conditions, middle school students have a heavy learning task, and training in other disciplines takes some time. Therefore, the number of writing should not be too much, and the training of oral expression ability can be less restricted by time and place. In addition, oral expression ability is the basis of written expression ability, so the training of fast oral expression ability plays an important role in fast writing training, and the improvement of students' impromptu oral expression ability is one of the keys to the success of fast writing. Therefore, in the usual classroom teaching, especially in lectures and reading classes, teachers should not only be satisfied with reading, but should ask students to talk more and speak in an orderly way, and then be literary. Answering questions is the most basic form of oral expression training, but retelling stories, summarizing and discussing defense. For example, a simulated press conference can be held in combination with the current situation; You can choose a topic and hold a speech contest; Language interest activities can be carried out in combination with reality. In short, as long as students persist and accumulate over time, students' acquisition of good and agile oral expression skills is just around the corner, laying a solid foundation for rapid composition.

Fourthly, cultivate students' good consciousness of actively collecting writing materials and establish a "material warehouse".

As the saying goes: don't panic when you have food in your hand. If the water in the pot is boiling, how can I go to the grain store to buy rice in time? Similarly, when I was looking for "food" in the essay, I finally remembered something, and I didn't have time to filter it out, so I had to piece together a few words. Naturally, my composition can't be good and fast. Mr. Lu Xun once said: "You must pick many kinds of flowers like bees to make honey." If you bite in one place, your income will be limited and boring. " That's one thing. Therefore, I often instruct students to study hard and pay attention to the accumulation of knowledge, and ask French students to collect writing materials to enrich their "knowledge warehouse". There are several ways to collect writing materials: First, pay attention to observing life. Teachers should guide students to pay attention to observation at ordinary times, observe more people and things happening around them, and join their own thinking. The second is to expand reading. Teachers should guide students to read more excellent contemporary literary works, newspapers and magazines, and let students record and read more in their spare time to expand their knowledge. Of course, teachers should guide students to summarize and sort out the collected materials and think about which materials can be used as the material of the article. In this way, once students get the composition topic, they won't panic in their hearts, and they will have something to say when writing, so they can finish the writing of the article quickly. It can be seen that collecting more writing materials at ordinary times can really improve the writing speed of students. In a word, "a clever woman can't cook without rice." If you don't pay attention to accumulating materials at ordinary times, you will not be able to write quickly.

The above are some suggestions on how to improve students' writing speed, which I summarized in my teaching practice, for your reference. But in the specific implementation process, teachers should also pay special attention to the following points:

1. Ask students not to ask for a job at the beginning when writing.

Everything is difficult at the beginning, and so is composition. The article is difficult to write at the beginning, which takes up a little more time. However, when writing (especially in the examination room), some students always hope that their composition will have a "blockbuster" beginning, so they often spend more time thinking, even after several revisions, they can't write it, so they spend more time. In this way, even if the beginning of the article is "beautiful", "innovative", "charming" and "Phoenix Head", the more important part behind it is carelessly written because of lack of time, thus affecting the quality of the whole article. So, what's the point of just having this "good" start? Therefore, in the process of specific guidance, teachers should warn students to arrange writing time reasonably, especially at the beginning of the article, not to pursue originality deliberately, but to consider the writing time of the full text. In the process of conception, even if you are not satisfied with the beginning for a while, it is not too late to consider revising after writing a complete article.

2. Ask students to think before writing, not to write sentence by sentence.

Teachers should educate students to write a composition carefully before they start writing, that is, they should think carefully before they start writing, instead of writing a sentence after thinking it over, and then start writing when the thinking is mature. Only in this way can we have a good idea and write it quickly. In fact, the best thought before writing is to make an outline. Writing an outline has many advantages. First, the things conceived before writing are fixed in words by listing steel to make your understanding clearer; The second is to write according to the outline, with distinct levels; Third, having an outline can avoid omitting more important content; Fourth, it is easy to grasp the time, so as not to finish writing after the previous structure. It can be seen that making an outline is very important for students' writing speed and quality, and teachers should train students more in the usual teaching process.

3. Pay attention to guide students to collect the full text in time and write the end of the article.

People are familiar with the middle and long distance running events in sports competitions. When athletes enter the last lap of the competition, the referee always fires a gun to encourage athletes to sprint hard in the final stage and strive for the best results, which is a useful reminder to our Chinese teacher. Therefore, when students write in class, teachers should clearly inform students ten minutes before handing in their papers to remind them to receive the papers in time. At the same time, when commenting, we should pay special attention to the different arrangement of students' exercises and emphasize the importance of receiving articles in time. After many trainings and comments, students have strengthened their sense of time, increased the ending mode, reduced the phenomenon of procrastination, and reduced the phenomenon of anticlimactic, giving up halfway and endless. So as to improve students' awareness of writing quickly and consciously form a good habit of finishing writing in time.

4. Instruct students to practice writing more, speed up sketching and improve writing efficiency.

Throughout the current middle school students, there are few clear compositions. Due to the limitation of examination time or other reasons, most students don't form the habit of writing seriously at ordinary times, and composition writing is a headache. In last year's senior high school entrance examination, some students' compositions were untidy. The first half of some compositions (especially the first paragraph) is neatly written, but the second half is more and more "dragon and phoenix dance", which makes it difficult for the reviewers to distinguish. In order to make students' writing clear and tidy, our Chinese teaching and research section has specially increased the writing score (3-5 points) in the marking of the senior high school entrance examination in recent years, aiming at promoting the writing quality of middle school students, encouraging students to write carefully and improving the cleanliness of test papers. Therefore, in the face of the current form of senior high school entrance examination, teachers should fully realize the necessity of writing carefully and clearly, and at the same time, in specific classroom teaching, they should educate and train students to practice writing more, learn more writing methods with pen and ink, and recall the writing speed, so as to improve the writing speed. Only in this way can we improve students' writing level, and more importantly, let students develop the habit of writing quickly and lay a good foundation for improving writing speed.

Of course, advocating rapid composition training is by no means a good habit of opposing rigorous and meticulous writing attitude, carefully carving and repeatedly deliberating, nor is it a denial of the writing spirit of "a word is uneasy, a thousand words are thousand words". However, students' practice is different from creation after all, and it is meaningless to overemphasize "good" and ignore "fast". For students' homework, "fast" should be an important symbol of "good" and a solid foundation for future "precision". Combined with the current trend of emphasizing positive thinking and developing intelligence in Chinese teaching, it is particularly important and worth discussing to improve the writing speed of middle school students.
