Heavy precipitation replenished the source, and the groundwater ushered in a high water level. Jinan springs are "flooded" and thousands of springs are rushing.
In the early autumn, Tanxi spring water, which is located in the south of Siming Pavilion in Wulongtan Park and named after its location in the west of Wulongtan, is full. The spring water gushed from the round hole at the bottom of the pool like a waterwheel, rippling in all directions. The spring pool is irregular, with stone embankment and depth of 1 m. The stone wall on the north side of the pool is inlaid with a stone carving, which was inscribed by Zhang Zhongfa, a calligrapher in Ming Dynasty. Originally stored in the old house wall on the north side of Xianqingquan, it was moved here when Wulongtan Park was built. There is a pavilion in the west of Chixi called Deyue Pavilion, which is homophonic with the word "water tower".
