What are the legends and stories in jiande city?

A Wu Zixu.

During the Spring and Autumn Period, Wu Zixu fled from Jiande to the State of Wu, helping He Lv, the king of Wu, achieve a hegemony. Due to the age, the written records of Wu Zixu's activities in Jiande are almost impossible to find, but there are still many legends about Wu Zixu among Jiande people, such as the legend that he got a gobbledygook in a cave in Jiande, thus gaining superhuman courage and wisdom. There are many place names in Jiande, all of which are related to Wu Zixu: Xu Ling, Xucun, Xu Xi, Xukou and Xukoujiang. In the past, along the 70-mile-long Xu Xi, there were four hero temples in memory of Wu Zixu.

Zhang Xingu (182 1- 1884) is from Meicheng. Gong Sheng was born in the first year of Tongzhi in Qing Dynasty (1862) and once taught in Qingyuan, Hua Kai and other counties in Zhejiang. At home in his later years, Heshan, the magistrate of Yanzhou, invited him to give lectures for the West House. He died at the age of sixty-four in the tenth year of Guangxu. Zhang Xingu is well-read and versatile all his life, so he is called Mr. Ai Lu. You Gong's calligraphy, whose book: "There is snow in the green hills, and there is no cloud in the blue mountains to see the crane's feelings", is still handed down from generation to generation and is highly valued by people. The banner of this running script is now treasured by the jiande city Cultural Management Association.

The Legend of Three White Sands Girls

Huang Chao, the leader of the rebel army in the late Tang Dynasty, was hunted by Tang Jun after the failed uprising. When I fled to Baisha Ferry, I was blocked by the surging Xin 'anjiang River. Just when she was anxious, the white gauze in the hand of Baisha girl who was washing gauze by the river waved gently into the air and immediately turned into a white bridge. Huang Chao was able to cross the river and escape. When Tang Jun caught up, Baisha girl had finished washing the yarn and put the white yarn back in her hand. Tang Jun had to sigh with regret. Since then, Baisha girl has become the embodiment of beauty and kindness. Her story has been handed down from generation to generation, and people have erected a statue of Baisha girl to commemorate her. The legendary place in this story is jiande city, Zhejiang Province. For a long time, Xin 'anjiang has relied on boatmen to ferry traffic, and regular river flooding often blocks people's traffic, so there is a folk song in my hometown, "Go all over the world, pity Baishadu". It was not until 1950s that the first bridge on Xin 'an River, Baisha Bridge, was completed that this period of history ended. This stone arch bridge has a beautiful shape, and the stone lions on the bridge railings are beautifully carved, comparable to the Lugou Bridge in Beijing. At that time, there was a saying that there was Lugou in the north and white sand in the south.

Jiu Si Xing Fisherman Wedding

Fishermen with nine surnames are water tribes who live on Xin 'an River, take boats as their home and take fishing as their profession. Spreading nets at sunrise and boating at sunset have become their main way of life. According to legend, at the end of Yuan Dynasty, Zhu Yuanzhang and Chen Youliang fought a decisive battle in Poyang Lake, Jiangxi Province for the world. In this life-and-death battle, Zhu Yuanzhang defeated Chen Youliang and captured the Ministry of Chen Youliang. Zhu Yuanzhang proclaimed himself emperor and established the Ming Dynasty, so he escorted Chen Youliang's men to Yanzhou Prefecture (Meicheng Town, jiande city) in Zhejiang Province and exiled them to Xin 'anjiang, where they were dismissed as "untouchables". It is forbidden to live ashore, marry people on the shore, study for exams and wear shoes on the shore. Therefore, for hundreds of years, the surnames Chen, Qian, Lin, Li, Yuan, Sun, Ye, Xu and He Jiu have had to bring their families and make a living by boating, relying on water and fishing. Over time, it has formed a unique life custom, among which the water wedding custom of "throwing the bride" is the most peculiar. The wedding of nine fishermen is a traditional tourism project in jiande city, which was held on a fishing boat in Xin 'anjiang. Xin 'anjiang Town is 0/26 kilometers away from Hangzhou/Kloc-and is connected by National Highway 320. Xin 'anjiang Town is 30 kilometers away from Lingqi Cave, 25 kilometers away from Daciyan Scenic Area and 28 kilometers away from Qili Sailing Wharf in Meicheng Ancient Town. The ancient fisherman's custom has always been a famous tourism project on the Xin 'anjiang River, basically maintaining the old content and form.
