The common stone products are ice grain, gold thread and silver thread, followed by fire. Fish brain jelly (including minced meat jelly) and banana leaf white are rare, very rare.
Kengziyan: The stone color is slightly red, and the color lines are even, not as colorful as the old pit or the pockmarked inkstone. There are banana leaf white, fish brain jelly, blue and white, fire and various stone eyes, especially stone eyes. Its stones look green (with yellow intervals), some have fainted seven or eight times, and its black eyes are lifelike, resembling the eyes of birds and animals. It is a high-grade inkstone material in Duan Xi pit.
Mazikeng: The color of inkstone is bright, blue-purple, slightly blue, similar to the pigment of Laokeng inkstone. From the observation of moisture and humidity, the colors are rich and colorful. There are fish brain jelly, banana leaf white, blue and white, pork liver jelly pressed by fire, pork liver jelly pressed by money fire, azure jelly, azure jelly and stone eye in the inkstone. The stone eye is particularly good and green, and it can be made into high-grade inkstone material by making several layers. Pockmarked pit inkstone has distinct layers, and masons think that the stone is divided into three layers (also called three layers).
Plum blossom pit: light gray with bluish yellow, like the fur of sika deer.
Songkeng: Songkeng inkstone covers an area of nearly 100 square kilometers, so the colors of the stones are not exactly the same. Generally speaking, the color of Songkeng inkstone is dignified and vigorous, which is one of the main characteristics of Songkeng inkstone. Songkeng inkstone is dense, smooth, fast and good in quality, and can be used as high and medium-grade carved inkstones, and the rest can be used as inkstones such as Mohai and Dianchi Lake.
Qingduan: Qingduan stone is bluish green with yellow soil, and the stone is delicate and tender. The best is emerald green, pure and flawless, glittering and translucent and oily, unique.
Axe Kedong (Xinmakeng): Good stoniness, delicate, hard and dense, rich in texture and practical.
