Seven cards of family education: comprehensive
Comprehensive
Family education includes inspirational education, habit education, classic reading, appreciation education, quality education, gratitude education, Respect education, love education, suffering education, life education, life education, success education, happiness education, survival education, labor education, frustration education, innovation education, writing education, awe education, etc., there are too many to mention.
If parents do not pay attention to the education of gratitude, their children may not have enough gratitude. If parents do not educate their children about suffering, their children may have extremely naive ideas about society. Similarly, if parents do not teach their children to respect others, their children's awareness of respect will not be strengthened.
The first news - Salute Education
After the first year of high school started, the child rushed home to report the first news -
Caring people in society Teacher Yin Mingti, at the invitation of the school, gave the first lesson of the school year to all the teachers and students of the high school. The theme was "Filial piety comes first". In accordance with the Confucian ethical theory, teacher Yin Mingti combined his own family education and forty-two years of school education practice to explain in a simple and profound way that filial piety is the foundation of a person. In life, Teacher Yin Mingti attaches great importance to the courtesy education of his children and school students: he must take the initiative to say hello to others, and say hello respectfully to his family and all the elders he knows well. As for my usual discipline of children, greetings are a must. The child sighed: You are doing exactly the same thing.
Principal Wang Xiuwen of the child’s school also requires this from all teachers and students. When you enter the campus, students and teachers will take the initiative to say hello to you. Especially the amiable and respectable Principal Wang, whose smile is always so bright!
Link 1——Yin Mingti
A retired teacher from No. 1 Middle School in Xinghua City, Jiangsu Province, who has been teaching for 40 years. Since 2010, he has visited primary and secondary schools, universities and communities in Yangzhou, Taizhou and other places in Jiangsu Province to give public welfare speeches with the theme of "100 Good Filial Piety First". So far, he has given more than 20 lectures, with an audience of more than 10,000 people.
Teacher Yin was born in a private school family, and his siblings were lucky enough to receive classical education since childhood. Similarly, they also use the teachings of sages to teach their children and implement family education according to the methods of sages and scriptures. Now the next generation is academically successful, and his son and nephew are both Ph.D.s from key universities across the country.
Teacher Yin said: "The difficulty of filial piety is the difficulty of appearance. It is the most difficult to always look good to parents."
"The difficulty of filial piety is the difficulty of appearance. My son has done it." "Teacher Yin said happily to me who came to visit me.
It can be seen that in Teacher Yin’s heart, what stands out the most about the juniors is not their high academic qualifications, but their sincere love and filial piety for their parents.
Link 2 - "Shout immediately" (Yangzhou dialect: busy shouting)
There was such a child. His relatives came and his father asked him to call someone. He was enjoying playing computer games and said in his mouth: "Shout now, shout now." This is not a joke, this is a true story. The kid is now grown and has lost hundreds of thousands gambling.
Note: Shouting immediately means waiting for a while before shouting.
Basking in the scorching sun - hard training
During the school military training, the child came back and said: Some people fell down, and some people screamed and couldn't stand it, but he could deal with it.
The child happily continued to report: During several summer vacations in elementary school, he often "enjoyed" the scorching sun exposure. Others probably did not have such training, so that he would faint after being exposed to the sun - he did not expect to be a little one. Tumbler", children also have a sense of accomplishment.
This is exactly what it is: parents were cruel in the past, but now their children are grateful!
Writing is like ants fighting
When I was recruiting at my unit, I found that there are fewer young people who fill out the interview forms respectfully, write neatly, beautifully and generously, and the words are smooth and smooth. College students fare no better. People with poor handwriting, language difficulties, and unwillingness to fill in complete forms predominate.
Words are like people, calligraphy is the second face of people, and writing education is urgent.
Eating is also an interview
In 2009, I went to an employer for an interview, and the applicant stayed for lunch. After the meal, the boss of the applicant company looked at the empty rice bowl and asked with concern:
"It's all eaten. Isn't it enough to eat?"
"That's enough. "I'm full."
"Is the food in our unit not delicious?"
"No, I don't leave any leftovers."
Only when I arrived at this unit did I realize that the company provided three meals for free, but there was a rule not to allow leftovers. Later, I thought about how eating is also a part of the CEO interview.
Since I was a child, my father has not allowed leftovers.
Tao follows nature
Most of today’s children are separated from school and family. Without living education, how can children have ideas, especially holistic thinking?
In my spare time, I took my children to see the dense river network in my hometown - one end of the small rivers leads to the big river, and the other end extends to the villages and farmland through ditches and canals. And the big river connects to the Yangtze River and reaches the sea.
If a small river is artificially divided and loses its connection with the big river, then the small river will lose its vitality and gradually dry up.
Children can perceive holistic thinking and systematic thinking from the river that gave birth to and raised me.
There are three carrying poles for reason and three carrying poles for unreasoning
I recall that when I was fifteen years old, I received the Buddhist three altar ordination of monks in Qixia Mountain. I remember that when I reported in on the first day, the preceptor asked me:
"Did you come to receive the ordination? Did Master ask you to come, or did you come on your own initiative?"
"Disciple himself. It comes from my heart!" I replied.
Unexpectedly, after I said that, the preceptor took a handful of willow branches and hit me hard on the head. Stars suddenly appeared in my eyes and I felt very surprised: Did I do anything wrong? At this time, the ordination master said slowly:
"You are very bold. Master did not ask you to come, and you dared to come and receive the ordination without Master's permission."
After hearing this, I felt that "that's right" and felt a lot more at ease.
After the first preceptor asked, he walked to the second preceptor, and he asked the same question:
"You came to receive the ordination. Master asked you to come. Or are you coming on your own initiative?"
Having been beaten just now, I know that I should "respect the teacher and respect the teachings", so I quickly said:
"Master ordered me to come. "
Unexpectedly, just after I finished speaking, the preceptor also picked up a handful of willow branches and hit me hard on the head. As he hit me, he said:
"This is unreasonable. What if? Master didn’t ask you to come, so you don’t even want to be ordained!”
It makes sense when you think about it. At this time, he asked me to go to the third preceptor again, and the question was still the same:
"You came to receive the precepts. Did the master ask you to come, or did you come on your own initiative?"
I have been beaten twice before, and after gaining experience, I replied:
"Master is compassionate, I am here to receive the precepts. Master asked me to come, and I also decided to come."
I feel that this answer should be seamless and reasonable. Unexpectedly, the preceptor still picked up the willow branch, beat it for a while and then scolded him:
"You are so ambiguous in your words, you are really slippery.

Conscious education - Master Hsing Yun
Be aware of your own shortcomings and your own shortcomings. Only when we are aware of our problems can we be self-conscious, self-reliant, and self-motivated, and it will be easier for us to make conscious progress in life. What?
1. Feeling that one’s own abilities are not enough;
2. Feeling that one has done something wrong to others;
3. Feeling that one’s compassion is not enough;
4. Feeling that one’s will is not strong enough;
5. Feeling that one is not sincere enough in treating others;
6. Feeling that one is not patient enough;
If there is no self-awareness, no matter how good things are given to you, no matter how many principles are taught to you, it will be useless. Therefore, people must continue to be self-aware, and only then will self-awareness make progress.
