She was a model for the youth magazine "CANDY" (Hakusensha), and now she is an exclusive model for "SEVENTEEN" (Shueisha). She has been working as an actress since around the spring of 2007. She made her debut in the BS-i drama "Love on the Sun: Graduation? Haru no Hush". In 2008, she starred in the TV series "Tokyo Girls: Erina Mizusawa" for the first time. In the summer of 2008, as TBS started filming the TV series version of "Koisora", Mizusawa was promoted to play the heroine Mika.
