The length and width should be longer, and the most important thing is the degree and direction of bending. The right end should be slightly convex and cannot be written as a horizontal straight line. At the same time, let the long cross bend slightly and bend slightly upwards, but not too much.

Compared with long cross, short cross is rich in varieties. The short horizontal pen tip and pen ring are called "left sharp horizontal"; Some are just the opposite, starting with a round pen and closing the nib, which is called "right-pointed horizontal". Pay attention to the change of light and heavy when writing short horizontal lines, and write dynamic beauty.

When writing a horizontal picture, cut the horizontal picture vertically and put the pen on the left. First, cut the pen slightly to the lower left in the vertical direction, and then write it obliquely to the upper right. The middle section is slightly thinner and the ends are thick. When we reach the end of the stroke, we should press the pen slightly to the lower right, and then hold the nib to make it reverse, so that the nib can be easily turned back to the center, and the whole stroke is in the shape of a flush upper mouth and a changing lower mouth.

To learn calligraphy, you usually learn to write regular script first, and writing the basic strokes of Chinese characters is the basis of practicing regular script. The strokes of Chinese characters are a little, horizontal, vertical, left, pressing, folding, hooking and lifting. We should not only master the shapes of these strokes, but also understand their strokes.
