Reflections on visiting Guangyuan Mingyue Gorge: often practice the spiritual plank road

"The plank road is built openly, but the Chen Cang is hidden", "The road to Sichuan is difficult, it is difficult to reach the blue sky", "One man can guard the pass, but ten thousand men cannot open it", it is an honor to come to Guangyuan Mingyue Gorge with these words. ? ?

Guangyuan is an important town in northern Sichuan and an important passage out of Sichuan. I remember a chapter in the TV series "Romance of the Three Kingdoms". Zhuge Liang cried bitterly after learning that Guan Yu lost Jingzhou, saying that the way to conquer Cao Wei out of Jingzhou was blocked and he could only advance from the north. The long front, the protracted battle that consumed both motors and electricity, dragged the Shu Han into an abyss of eternal destruction. The soldiers and horses go first before the food and fodder are used. The battle is about consumption, and it depends on who can last until the end. This shows how difficult it is to get out of Sichuan from the north. ? ?

The phrase "Build plank roads in the open and build plank roads in secret" can be traced back to the Qin and Han Dynasties, indicating that the ancients had already thought of the wisdom of Dechuan - plank roads thousands of years ago. Sichuan's geographical location is easy to defend but difficult to attack, creating a geomantic treasure and making it a land of abundance. ? ?

At present, which province except Sichuan dares to say "Welcome to a country" in front of the central leadership? Only Sichuan people can say to their leaders, "Welcome to the Land of Abundance!" Not only will the leaders not be angry, they will also be very happy. In this regard, no matter how developed Hangzhou and Suzhou are, they still dare not be arrogant. How dare they say "Heaven welcomes you"? People from Jiuquan don't even dare to say "Welcome to Jiuquan" and the consequences will be to make you smile immediately.

"The road to Sichuan is as difficult as climbing to the blue sky." It is destined to be difficult to get out of Sichuan, and of course it is not easy to enter Sichuan. I saw three stone carvings: one is that King Hui of Qin destroyed Shu, the other is that Zhuge Liang came out of Shu to attack Wei, and the third is that Emperor Ming of Tang favored Shu. ? ? ? ? ? ?

It tells the stories of three periods respectively. When the two countries Bashu and Bashu were fighting fiercely and life and death, the Qin State took advantage of the opportunity and entered. The country's national power was doubled; in order to support the Han Dynasty, Zhuge Liang sent troops to attack Wei seven times according to historical records, and finally died on the expedition, exhausted and died; during the Anshi Rebellion, the rebels captured Chang'an, and the Tang Ming Emperor fled to Sichuan in a hurry, named after "Lucky Shu". When I think of the Qing Dynasty, the British and French forces captured Beijing, and Emperor Xianfeng fled to Chengde, named "Hunting".

The difficulty of the Shu Road did not limit the wisdom of the ancients, who chose to isolate themselves from the world by drawing the earth as a prison. The more critical the moment, the more human potential can be fully unleashed, achieving unexpected results, carving out a way out of impassable cliffs, turning natural chasms into paths, and reaching the ideal shore. Sichuan also includes the Dujiangyan Water Conservancy Project, which was built under the leadership of Li Bing. Thousands of years later, it continues to play a role, turning the Chengdu Plain washed by floods into fertile fields; his idea of ??"floating the beach deeply and building the weir low" has become Huawei's The essence of company management, this has to be admired. The holes in the rocks of Mingyue Gorge have witnessed the wisdom of ancient people for thousands of years, so I tried hard to restore the scene of building the ancient plank road.

? ?

First of all, the masonry workers used ropes to fall from the top of the mountain to the cliff, which is a bit like the cleaning workers of high-rise buildings today. At that time, there were no steel frames, only bamboo or rattan baskets, and people stood on them. Holes are drilled into the rock inside the basket. This should be the most strenuous. You really need to develop the spirit of perseverance and hammer one hammer after another. There is no other alternative. I thought that when Li Bing encountered huge rocks blocking the road when building Dujiangyan, he could use fire to burn the rocks and then use water to crack the rocks to quickly solve this problem. But the matter of drilling this hole was completely out of the question, and there was no way to rely on external force at that time. ? ?

The next thing is to insert wooden stakes into the holes. There must be at least two wooden stakes to lay the planks. The next step is to continue drilling holes, plugging wooden piles, laying planks, and extending the plank road. If we still transport materials from the top of the mountain, the cost will be very high, because the mountain stations where communication towers are built have experienced that the cost of moving materials is astonishingly high. ? ? ? ?

I was thinking that since there are several piles on the cliff and planks are laid out, I can consider using a boat to carry the raw materials directly below the piles, and then use ropes to pull them up. This saves on shipping costs. People on the wooden piles can use the hanging ladder to get down to the boat, and vice versa. This is always less troublesome than the round trip from the top of the mountain. So the wooden piles were extended horizontally little by little, and the plank road paved with wooden planks was also lengthened little by little. The wooden plank road is exposed to wind, sun, wind and rain. You can imagine that the daily maintenance work is not light. ? ? ? ?

The danger of the plank road can be described as one man can guard the pass, and ten thousand men cannot open it. A fire burned the plank road, and it was isolated from the world. When I see the general platform and the martial arts training ground, I think of the war back then. It really proves the saying - the right time is not as good as the right place, and the right place is not as good as the people. Reminiscent of the northern defense system of Jiang Wei of the Shu Han Dynasty, it can be said to be impregnable. Unexpectedly, Cao Wei's army bypassed this line of defense and entered the hinterland. It drove straight down with overwhelming force and soon penetrated into the heart of the Shu Han regime - Chengdu. This made Jiang Wei sigh, and a good defense became the Maginot Line of Defense.

Time has evolved to the present day. Before the expressway was opened to traffic decades ago, it was said that the passage out of Sichuan was just above the plank road. It was a road dug along the mountainside. You can imagine how this road was built back then. The driver has to cheer up. ? ? ? ? ?

The place where Huya holds up a piece of sky, protecting the safety and smoothness of vehicles going back and forth.

From a distance, the tiger fang pillar pattern looks a bit like a lion's head, as if to say "I am the king of beasts, please rest assured, I will definitely control you." ? ? ? ? ? ?

? ?

There are also train tracks, which are used to build roads on mountains, build bridges when encountering water, and drill holes when encountering rocks. While walking, a train roared towards me and passed through the cave. I heard from a friend that cars drive on the right in two-way lanes and trains drive on the left in two-way tracks, which is quite a bit of knowledge. Now that the expressway has been opened, it is quite spectacular to see the road with pillars on top, hanging in the air above the river. ? ?

Seeing the word "difficulty" in Qigong's calligraphy, with the development of society, "difficulty" has become a thing of the past, and has changed from "the road to Shu is difficult" to "the road to Shu is easy". The Xicheng High-speed Railway was opened last year, and the fastest drive from Chengdu to Xi'an is 4 hours. Of course, the aviation route has long solved the problem of the difficulty of the Shu Road. After the Shu Road was opened, it brought difficulties to short-term aviation operations and was forced to cancel the route.

Through the example of the ancient Shu plank road, I was thinking about a question: Is there anything in the world that is insurmountable? Life is a practice. Is there really an unbridgeable gap? A sentence comes to mind: Everything depends on man-made things, don't say everything is fate; the situation is created by the heart, and it will be easier to take a step back.

From ancient times to the present, ancient people have achieved access to such dangerous terrain as Shushan Mountain through plank roads. Modern people have realized the transformation of natural chasms into thoroughfares through highways and high-speed railways, and the 2-hour, 4-hour, and 8-hour economic circles of the Land of Abundance are becoming a reality. Even such difficult things can be overcome. Are there any difficulties in our hearts that we cannot overcome?

The key to whether one's heart can transcend is to see whether one's heart is bound. Compared with the insurmountable nature of the incident itself, the most difficult thing to overcome is the psychological barrier. When we are unhappy about something and can't figure it out, can't think about it, or can't figure it out clearly, we might as well build a plank road for our souls. We begin to use the most primitive way to let events come out of our memories, and as time goes by, let these things whiz by through roads and railways. If it is open, it will be smooth and the mood will be comfortable. This is the principle; if it is not open, it will be blocked and the heart will be filled with panic. This can be explained in this way.

I watched the movies "The Memory Master" and "The Hypnotist" some time ago, as well as "Inception" a few years ago, and I feel that human memory is very magical. Looking through the information, I found that memory has two parts, one is instant memory, and the other is long-term memory. The former is like computer memory, and the latter is like computer hard drive.

Thinking of taking the college entrance examination in 1999, the Chinese language test topic was "If memory can be transplanted". The essay I wrote at that time was that if memory could be transplanted, there would be no need to spend so much effort every day memorizing difficult book knowledge. Before the exam, I especially hoped that the "memory bread" in "Doraemon" would appear. .

After I went to college, I heard from classmates in the dormitory that the title of his writing was "Rediscussing "Fairplay"" (an article by Lu Xun in the textbook was about "Fairplay"), probably It means that if memory can be transplanted, the result will be that everyone has the same knowledge. This will be unfair to children who study hard, and it will reward laziness and punish hard work.

The dormitory students’ analysis makes sense, but in the eyes of the marking teacher, being unconventional may not be a good thing. If you meet an enlightened marking teacher, you may be lenient in scoring; if you meet a mediocre marking teacher, you may be in trouble. During the composition practice in the high school class, the Chinese teacher asked everyone to try to write popular and universal compositions, and the views expressed should be straightforward rather than implicit, because the marking teacher did not have so much time to deeply understand. In exams, knowledge is randomly checked; in practice, skills are randomly checked. Although we know after working that knowledge and skills are not equal, we are still in awe of the exam. After all, the college entrance examination is a one-time deal, and it is not worth gambling on your youth after more than ten years of hard work.

Regarding the ethical and moral issues of memory management, which can trigger more thinking, "Memory Master" has fully explained. Things that need to be mastered in life should be transferred from the memory to the hard drive as much as possible and become permanent memories. For things that are unhappy and cause serious damage to the soul, try to delete them from the hard drive, or do not enter the hard drive in the memory stage. A person with a good memory is not entirely a good thing; a person with a poor memory is not entirely a bad thing. When I talked with my classmates about things from my student days, I felt strange why I could remember some passages clearly.

For example, when I was in the fourth grade of elementary school, I was scolded by my homeroom teacher the next day because I left early with my classmates. The punishment is for everyone to memorize the text, which is the real meaning of memorizing the text. They are required to memorize it word for word, and do push-ups if they memorize a wrong word. So everyone drew lots for the passages to be recited, and I was particularly lucky to get the ancient poem. I recited He Zhizhang's "Ode to the Willow" - jasper made up as high as a tree, with thousands of green silk ribbons hanging down. I don’t know who cuts out the thin leaves. The spring breeze in February is like scissors. Other students were not so lucky. Who had the ability to memorize the text word for word, so they had no choice but to accept the punishment.

I had a strange dream last year. I dreamed that I was taking an exam (an exam after work), and the invigilator turned out to be a certain teacher from primary school. In the dream, there was a multiple-choice question in the examination room. I had some doubts about the question, so I raised my hand to indicate it. When the invigilator came over to look at it, he pointed at the answer with his hand. I immediately understood that this was the correct answer to the question. Why? Because when I was in the first grade of elementary school, I encountered a similar situation. When the teacher pointed at the answer, he didn't understand that it was the correct answer. As a result, he chose other answers and got the wrong question. . The teacher in the dream passed away more than 10 years ago.

Perhaps the hard drive of your memory stores too many things. When you come into contact with some sad or unhappy past events, it is easy to cause emotional fluctuations. For some things, it is necessary to seal them up and make them invisible so that they cannot be retrieved. If it can be handled in this way according to the excerpts in "The Memory Master", it would be a good way to treat psychological problems.

It is best not to touch the Pandora's Box of the past. Once you encounter it, you can only rely on your mind to transcend it. Regularly cultivate the path of the soul, accumulate knowledge, and deal with Pandora's Box calmly. If you can't build the plank road of the soul yourself, you need to rely on external help. When a person's structure is bigger and his world is wider, the situations of being blocked and panicked will be reduced, and the road to the soul will have fewer mountains and cliffs.

Three realms are narrow when there is dust in the eyes, but a bed is wide when there is nothing in the heart. The past cannot be remonstrated, but the past can still be pursued, so let the past follow the wind. Constantly cultivating the plank road of the soul, whether it is on a cliff, a swamp, an abyss, or a sea of ????knives and fire, can always provide a glimmer of hope for survival in desperate situations; of course, the higher state is to cultivate the plank road openly and secretly survive.

The Chinese New Year is coming soon. I would like to write this article to commemorate the 36 Spring Festivals I have spent, and we are about to usher in the first day of the 37th New Year.
