The method of experiencing reading

This is a new book written by Luo Pang. Luo Pang recently held a seminar. The first issue was about Du Fu, and I resolutely joined. Because my wife told my son that poetry was beautiful, but I never thought so. In my impression, poetry is unusual and awkward. I remember when I was at school, I felt bored when I saw it, especially when I had to recite it. At that time, I was most afraid of reciting ancient Chinese. Until some time ago, my son brought Wang Bo's Preface to Wang Tengting at home, and I saw this article again. I felt that it was flowing and magnificent, and I was amazed at the combination of the original text. This made me have the impulse to study ancient poetry again, but I was afraid when I saw those rare words. So I hope Luo Pang can lead me to talk about Du Fu, enhance my understanding of ancient poetry and ignite my interest in poetry.

Going back to Luo Pang's book "Reading Methods", first of all, I think this book is durable and easy to understand at first glance. I once learned how to read a book. I want to sleep as soon as I pick it up. There are many concepts and theories in it, which make me flinch. After I barely spent more than a month learning, I found that it didn't help me much. Moreover, this book is mostly simple and easy to understand in the vernacular, plus wonderful examples, which makes me read easily and finish it in a few days.

Secondly, this book is useful. It taught me that reading is not climbing mountains. The world of books is actually not a mountain, but a net. Mountains need hard climbing, and nets let us jump happily from one node to another. You can find the books you are interested in by reading. You can follow them and skip them. If I can't understand a book, I can give up reading, no matter how good it is. Because books are a net, when the net is large enough and dense enough, many seemingly obscure books will be interested in reading and understanding. This is a good method. For me, choosing books is better than reading. Let go of the burden of having to read a book through, and you will be really interested in reading. As Luo Pang said, any action taken by a reader who is willing to linger in the world of books will lead to an unexpected encounter. Sooner or later, a ray of light will illuminate him and make him "suddenly fall down".

Third, this book is novel. Luo Pang divides the book into four chapters and twenty-four chapters, and each chapter can be read in twenty minutes (I have tried this, and each chapter really takes about twenty minutes). You can read small chapters at any time without any burden. Each chapter discusses the meaning and fun of reading from different aspects, and also recommends many book lists, which can expand reading according to your own interests. Although I have browsed it roughly, I still can't see through and enjoy a lot of content. It doesn't matter. I will continue to watch next. I can read a chapter before going to bed. I'm going to use this book as my introductory book. I'll keep reading it and draw nutrition from it until I've eaten it thoroughly and squeezed it out, so I don't need it anymore.
