General situation of Changde poetry wall

Changde, known as Wuling in ancient times, has been built for more than two thousand years and is known as the hometown of cultural relics. In recent years, the state invested10.08 billion yuan to build a poem wall, named "China Changde poem wall", with a 4-kilometer-long flood control wall as the carrier, aiming at promoting Chinese traditional culture and strengthening patriotism education. Poetry Wall is a collection of poems, calligraphy and fine arts works by famous contemporary artists in China. It is called the longest art wall of poems, books, paintings and engravings in the world and won the title of "Best in Guinness".

China Changde Poetry Wall, with a total length of 4km, is divided into eight chapters: vicissitudes of life in one hundred generations, famous poets' poems, Wuling Jiazhi, Fenghua in Lan Zhi, China Xinsheng, picking up five continents, elegant demeanor of the times and farewell. Select poems and famous Chinese and foreign articles about Changde since the pre-Qin period to carve them. Poetry is expressed in the form of calligraphy, written by calligraphers 12 13 from all over the country, including Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan. Truth, line, official script, seal script and grass are all on one wall.

During this period, 43 exquisite Chinese and foreign stone murals were carved. The wall names and inscriptions of the main chapters were written by famous contemporary calligraphers in China, such as Zhao Puchu, Shen Peng, Qi Gong, Yan Jialong, Sun Qifeng,, Xiao Xian,,, Fang Yi and Chen. Cao Yu, Shu Tong and Wu Zuoren also wrote the titles of "Romantic Wulin" and "Unique scenery here" respectively. Poetry wall attracts visitors from all directions with its rich cultural connotation, positive ideological content and exquisite artistic form. Contemporary poetry, calligraphy and painting circles praised it as "three wonders of poetry and calligraphy", "artistic picture scroll developed since ancient times", "the first in Ming Dynasty" and "the first in China"; Yu Guangzhong, a famous scholar in Taiwan Province, called it "The Great Wall of Poetic Country" and "Half Literary History". China Changde Poetry Wall was named "the longest art wall of poetry, calligraphy and painting in the world" by Guinness Headquarters, and was praised as "a great creation" by former the State Council Prime Minister Zhu Rongji. Wang Daohan, president of the Association for Relations Across the Taiwan Strait, praised Changde Poetry Wall as not only a great sight in Changde, but also a must in Changde. The Chinese Poetry Society awarded it the title of "National Advanced Unit of Poetry Teaching". Wandering in the poem wall, Changde's rich Jingchu culture and Hu Xiang culture come to our faces.

Four pavilions, Wuling Pavilion, Chunshen Pavilion, Paiyun Pavilion Pavilion and Fisherman Pavilion, stand on the poem wall, which are not only flood gates, but also add profound cultural heritage to the ancient city. Poetry walls and parks look antique. On weekdays, tourists are in an endless stream; As night falls and the morning dawns, it is even more crowded with tourists and is praised as the first place for leisure by Changde people.
