Where is the Jinzhai site?

Jinzhai site is a national key cultural relics protection unit.

Jinzhai Site is located near Jinzhai Village, Lizhuang Township, Xiaoxian County, Suzhou City, Anhui Province. It is the largest Neolithic site in Xuhuai area.

Jinzhai site is surrounded by mountains. The west and north of the site are surrounded by rivers, ditches in the south and gullies in the east. It is 800 meters long from east to west and 600 meters wide from north to south, with a total area of about 500,000 square meters. The site dates back to the late Neolithic Age, and its cultural characteristics are similar to those of the middle and late Dawenkou culture and the early and middle Longshan culture. It is a central settlement site in Xuhuai area in the late Neolithic period. There are 30 Neolithic tombs and 2 trenches in Jinzhai site, and more than 200 Neolithic houses, ash pits, ash ditches and tombs have been unearthed, including more than 200 pottery, stone and jade cultural relics, including jade 134, turquoise 27, stone tools 4 and pottery 2.

On March 28th, 20 19, Jinzhai Site was approved as a cultural relic protection unit in Anhui Province. 20 1917 October, 19, was selected as the eighth batch of national key cultural relics protection units.

Lizhuang Township: Lixian Lizhuang Township is located in the northernmost part of Anhui Province, at the intersection of the four provinces of Sulu, Henan and Anhui, only 30 kilometers away from Xuzhou, a transportation hub in northern Jiangsu, with convenient transportation. There are the national forest park "Huangzangyu", the provincial forest park "Tianmen Temple" and the tourist resort "Tianyi Corner Paradise" under construction, with beautiful scenery, beautiful environment and pure folk customs. This township belongs to the hilly area in the hinterland of Huaibei Plain, and is rich in high-quality dry and miscellaneous fruits, especially apricots. The main varieties are Golden Sun, Kate, Badou Apricot and Hongfeng.
