Introduction of eight basic strokes of Chinese brush

1. The eight basic strokes of China's calligraphy are dot, horizontal, vertical, left-handed, pressed, hooked, picked and folded. Mastering these basic writing methods, no matter how the font changes, it is the same, which is more convenient for us to copy and learn calligraphy.

2. The basic form of the point is the tip of the head, the tail is round, the abdomen is flat, the back is round, the pen should be sharp, and then the pen tip is spread down to both sides, and the strength is getting heavier and heavier. In the lower half, lift the pen tip, twist it to the back, and quickly seal it from the lower abdomen.

3. There are a lot of horizontal strokes, basically the head is square and the tail is round, the middle part is slightly thinner, the nib is retrograde from right to left, and the middle part is slightly raised. At last, the nib is raised, put down to the right, twisted, and then quickly closed to the right.

4. There are basically two kinds of verticality: vertical hanging and vertical hanging. The writing is straight and powerful. First, the nib is upward, slightly inclined and slightly twisted, then it goes down to the tail, the front end is slightly lifted and closed to the left.

5. The tail is slightly thicker and the posture is more elegant. First of all, you must go up against the wind, tilt the pen, adjust the pen tip, slowly fall down, and then come out quickly at the tail.

6. The strokes should be tortuous. A stroke has ups and downs, from head to stem, from stem to foot, and finally from foot to tip.

7. When writing a hook, write a vertical line first. When you get out of the hook, lift it up slightly, let the nib get together, then put it down and push it to the left.

8. Pick a curl similar to the opposite direction, start against the wind, tilt the pen tip, adjust the pen tip, and quickly pick it out to the right after twisting.

9. Folding is relatively simple and consists of horizontal and vertical strokes.
