When you get a new pen, the tip of the pen is often sealed with glue, which needs to be soaked in water to make the pen suitable for writing. This step is called "opening the pen." The general steps for opening a pen are as follows:
1. Prepare clean water in a water bowl, submerge the entire pen tip into the water, and press it with a little force, and the pen hair will spread out.
2. Squeeze the pen slightly to let the layer of floating glue on the pen fall off.
3. Gently rinse it in water, then use a paper towel to dry the water on the pen, and you are done.
Points to note:
1. Avoid soaking the brush and do not leave it in water for too long.
2. In the past, the practice of opening the pen only half way in the South was probably to make the pen more powerful. The principle is similar to that of a cored pen and is easier to control. However, the pen is never fully opened, the waist and belly of the pen are not used, and the control of the pen tip is only limited to the pen tip, which is not helpful for mastering the pen control, so it is still recommended to fully open the pen tip.
