Mi Zige originated in the Qing Dynasty.
Generally speaking, the use of Mi Zige should be related to Qianlong. As the first person in China's poetry (none of which is required to be recited), Gan Long wrote a bunch of calligraphy works without personality (PS, his father Yongzheng's handwriting is good), which is called "official style", but it is actually a variant of regular script. Then ask readers to take the imperial examination with this font.
In order to teach this rigid font, Mi Zige was invented, and the horizontal dashed line is the reference of the long and short horizontal, horizontal and four points; The left slash is a reference for the left long stroke, hook or hook ... and so on.
Of course, we don't advocate "dry" at present, but Mi Zige is very helpful for beginners to master difficult strokes and font types and avoid distortion. After all, although the square regular script lacks personality, it is really the basis of writing.
But if you write seal script, cursive script and so on, you won't use Mi Zige.
