Introduction to Wang Baoxi

Wang Baoxi, a famous calligrapher and painter, with the courtesy name Xuguang and Xianyun Yehe, was born in Wucheng, Shandong Province in August 1946. In the 1960s, he went to the Moscow Art Institute of the Soviet Union to study oil painting. He is currently an arts and crafts artist, vice chairman of the China National Calligraphers Association, vice chairman of the China National Artists Association, director of the Chinese Calligraphers Association, executive chairman of the All-China Federation of Calligraphers and Painters, director of the China Arts and Crafts Association, and director of the Yan Zhenqing Calligraphy and Painting Art Research Association. Director of the World Chinese Artists Association, Vice President of the Chinese National Academy of Painting and Calligraphy, Researcher of the Overseas Chinese Art Research Association, Vice President of the China Cultural and Economic International Exchange Association, Professor of the Beijing Yanxiang Training Base of the Chinese Cultural and Economic International Exchange Association, and Research on Chinese Poetry, Calligraphy, Painting and Seal Art Vice president of the academy, academician and executive president of the Chinese Academy of Calligraphy and Painting Art, and deputy director of the Shanghai Work Station of China’s First Channel City and County Leadership Channel.
